  1. graham, I was just about to post similar comments but you saved me the effort. I agree with everything you have said but it f'n hurts me to admit it.
  2. get moshni upfront put magregor at CH
  3. giving that our keeper constantly boots the ball up the park, I favour Daley
  4. As much as I hate to admit it, as I thought he merited a wee slot on the side lines as he has not done as well as we may have hope for, Nicky Law was flawless tonight and full of running with a cracking goal to show as well. my man of the match.
  5. before the pen the comm said he had scored 14 out of 16. now 15 out of 17, great record!
  6. From many of my good friends views, the atmosphere that this "great establishment" generates to the match day experience encourages them to return time and time again when perhaps the football alone may have seen them stay at home. So to say the club don't benefit is wrong.
  7. Schmeichael Baresi Maldini Thuram matthaus zidane xavi scholes maradona Baggio Ronaldo (Brazilian)
  8. I respect him as a person and all he has ever done for our club and my heart is constantly reminded of his previous endeavours when judging him. This makes it all the harder when my head tells me he is not the right man for the job. Won the leagues easily; however, his signings, style of play, lack of player improvement and game-time tactical management are discouraging. We may get a victory tomorrow which will pull on my heartstrings again and may possibly leave me questioning my own harsh judgment of Ally but in all honesty it will only be papering over the cracks.
  9. simonsen foster moshni faure smith mcculloch Gallagher law black shiels clark
  10. to have a better chance of winning I would like Aberdeen at ibrox in the semi. they have a decent recent record at porkheid. Get through that we have an easier final
  11. As often as Derek Johnson talks pish his comments reference bodies back for corners as spot on. If we put 3 further up the park the opposition have to have 4 to cover. We have no out ball just now during these situations and we would really feel the pressure more if we deployed this tactic against premier opposition, which we might do after the next round of the Scottish Cup. Absolute baffling tactics.
  12. Rangers playing here or not. sad sorry state of affairs in our country. Somerset park pfft. shocking!!!
  13. Never lost passion; however, being based in Harrogate it was never the easiest task watching rangers games. the first helicopter Sunday I had to listen to online radio. I always felt isolated but it made me all the keener when I got up the road.
  14. Don't know about five but juan roman riquelme was a joy to watch even if it was against our own club. Don't think he gave the ball away all night.
  15. "I have this image in my head of a big blue bulldozer gathering speed slowly but surely, by the time it reaches it's destination it just ploughs through every cunt who asked for it" this my friend, similar to Juventus, is how I envisaged us to be. A wrecking ball!!
  16. Demanding these records to be broke, to me and many other rangers fans, would no doubt be a little silver linen. a little success in this bleak time; however if your negativity allow you? please could you lighten the f*ck up. Our most loyal Ger (as you say) has hee haaw to do with the OP question: could we break the record? yeah Do we deserve it? Hell yeah. Do the team need the pressure? F*ck yeah! they play for rangers and they need to "step up and play".
  17. The moment we stop believing our team can achieve these: goal differences, targets, records etc. and settle for just progressing is the day we let all those before us down. We are the people and now more than ever we must believe it.
  18. I can't support any other team; however, If a team has got a player I admire I will tend to watch them before any other. I used to watch Sheffield Wednesday for Chris Waddle, Man City for Kinkladze, Arsenal for Bergkamp and Chelsea for Zola. Although there are billions of pounds worth of talent in the premiership for me I just don't take to any of the current players and don't care a jot for any results.
  19. I know youtube can make any amateur player look good but there are some seriously good videos out there. My personal favourites. Great players where youtube videos make them look superhuman( apart fro Baggio's penalty)Nowadays I recognise and believe messi to be the best player ever to live, controversial maybe, but what I am asking is what are your favourite, non rangers football videos? not necessarily the best players but the best youtube videos. Hope you enjoy my favourites now please share yours.
  20. The formation we put out should, and no doubt will be dictated by the players we have at our disposal. If 2 strikers click together then we may accomodate that partnership. Should we form a dominant midfield who can create and score goals we may only play 1 up front. If we leak goals too easily ( like last year) we tighten it up at the back. In my opinion 442 is not outdated nor is any fancy formation the key to a good team. We can not dictate a team around a formation ( like the english xmas tree) we must instead work to our strengths and if needed be flexible, adapt when needed and be prepared for change. Our correct formation will be when we win games and even then there will be some keyboard managers wanting to change things. We all have opinions and no doubt the best intentions for our club; however,to talk formations at this stage, before our squad is determined, is a tad premature.
  21. young player of the year should be 21 and younger. joke that bale is in that category.
