  1. Correct, the better he does at the world cup and if he does leave which I think he's a cert to do we'll get more cash for him.
  2. Good luck to Boogie at the world cup hope he does well I haven't a problem with the article however I did have a bit of a problem with him when he never returned on time on a few occasions when he was on duty with his national side I think some and I say some of the foreign players do put their national side before or on a par with their club but as I said I hope he does well in the world cup and if he does leave the Queens eleven it wont be the end of the world better players than the Boogie man have left and we move on and that goes for any player that leaves just in case people think I'm singling out Boogie.
  3. I went to every game at the brox whether it was 9,000 or 60,000 only time we got that amount right enough was when THE ENEMY came calling that was during the Greig era it didn't matter to me I bleed Rangers went to see them through the good times and the bad times you've got to, it was depressing seeing THE ENEMY dominating the league in the mid 60's and nearly all through the 70's and part of the early 80's and it didn't help that the sheep shaggers were winning a few league titles as well although the 2 trebles under big Jock Wallace were fantastic and also 3 games against THE ENEMY come to mind two in 1980 when we beat them 2-1 in their own midden at the start of that season Alex Miller scoring the winner in the last minute then humping them 3-0 at the brox also in 1980 and totally playing them off the park, Colin Mcadam sorting his brother out, and wee Bud in his second spell with us still running their full backs ragged great memories and not forgetting the Drybourgh cup final in 1979 when Coop scored that wonder goal in a 3-1 win but we've got to get behind the team no matter what the circumstances are "we are the people" and we'll be back so keep the faith.
  4. I read the article as saying he is wanting more than 25k a week, but the club are saying to him the max he could get is 25k per week, which is what their top earners apparently get. Boyd to me is being greedy. I take it you believe everything you read? paper talk without a reliable or no source = bullshit productions unless big eck or someone else from Birmingham have actually came out and said it.
  5. Watched him in the nine in a row game game couple of season ago and he still looked as if he could have done the biz for Rangers love watching the old clips but at the same time its depressing knowing we'll never see a player like that again no wonder Jim White said to him in an interview "Brian why are you so good"
  6. I agree with you (Not often I do) time will tell with all matters regarding the club, re newed contracts and buyers hopefully it WILL be in the next couple of weeks I know its a forum but some of the shit about players leaving and new owners is ridiculous unless the guys on the forum who are coming out with these rumours can back them up and I dont mean statements like - my uncles mates brother was talking to a player or a member of staff at Rangers etc etc, the only man I trust at Rangers is Walter Smith when he comes out and says something it is the truth anyone else its a crock of shit. "end of 2nd fucking rant" Smith has contradicted himself on numerous occasions. Everyone has their own agenda. It was Walter Smith who came out and said the club was being run by the bank when the board said it wasn't.

  8. I agree Boydie never shows emotion unless he scores a goal its not a criticism as you said its just the way he is I remember when we beat Dundee United in the League cup final and he scored the 2 goals and the penalty to win the cup when the team went back to Ibrox Alan Mcgregor had to push him forward as he was reluctant to take his share of the limelight as for the contract Rangers might have offered him an improved contract but the bank who are running Rangers might have said it was a no go as the most important man at the club Walter "in who we trust" was offered fuck all and was managing the team without a contract if Boyd goes he goes NOBODY is bigger than Rangers, we can all speculate whats happening at Ibrox with contracts and new owners but at the end of the day we're all in the dark and all the rumours coming out about take overs and players leaving like the one's I've read today regarding Kevin Thomson and Kyle Lafferty are ridiculous, I just hope things at the club get sorted out soon. "End of fucking rant"
  9. I know what your saying mate but I'm not the only one thats frustrated, Walter "in who we trust" seems to be getting pissed off with the statement that was made about a new contract he was going to be offered by Ellis, I hope things get sorted out soon.
  10. I'm chilling mate, I'm chilling I'm also still celebrating.
  11. Why are you apologizing you've a right to your fucking opinion it is a forum after all.
  12. I think you might be right its ok for Rangers to offer him a contract but the bank are running Rangers and if they say its a no go Rangers can do fuck all about it and why was Boyd offered a new contract with more money when the most important man at the club uncle Walter who was managing the team without a contract wasn't offered anything, at the end of the day we're all in the dark about whats happening at Ibrox just hope things get sorted out soon.
  13. How can you leave the club you love when you see that support at the brox today and no disrespect but I wouldn't believe anything Derek Ferguson says we can speculate all we like but only Kris Boyd knows were his future lies.
  14. What do you expect from THE ENEMY doesn't surprise me one bit.
  15. I'm hacked off at Ellis he comes out opens his mouth saying he's buying the club and giving Walter a new contract now its all went quiet its ok to say lets party but we need someone in A.S.A.P so we can get players tied down and more importantly get uncle Walter, Ally, Durranty and Kenny on contracts, "end of fucking rant" now I'm off to rejoin the party.
  16. I like him as well McBoyd but he picks up too many injuries.
  17. Still think he'll be at the brox for the start of the new season McBoyd just my opinion.
  18. I was brought up in kinning park, Mcllelan street to be exact anytime I hear the place mentioned the memories flood back.
  19. The folk defending Bougherra are having a laugh the world cup is 4 weeks away this could have been the last time he had a chance to celebrate with the fans at the brox he puts his country in front of his employers all the time great player but he's took the piss and this is the final fucking straw for me nobody is bigger than the club although I'm not going to dwell on it too busy celebrating.
  20. Message to McNeil if we want to hear an arsehole we'll fart, although I have to say when he played for THE ENEMY he was good in the air, he was a fucking balloon.
  21. It's the same on here every day: poster 1 says "Boydies is in poor form. poster 2 retorts with "aye but Lafferty is pure shite all the time" I think it's ridiculous that people can seriously try and use Laffertys ability(or lack of ability) as a way of defending Boyds lacklustered performances. At the end of the day Boyd has been terrible since the turn of the year. If he had applied himself all season instead of during a six week spell he could probably have scored closer to 40 goals this year. To say he hasn't been inconsistant "is a fuckin joke" because he has. Boyd hasn't been the same player since he came back from his injury even Walter "in who we trust" said he was rushed back to soon and the reason Lafferty is brought up is because after his few good games a lot of fans think he's the new fucking saviour check his goals per game not only for Rangers but for Burnley as well and its woeful.
  22. In English, please. Also stop the taig like name calling! Lafferty has won us the previous few games, he was decent in the first half and with the garbage long ball service he was getting Boyd wouldn't have done any better. 2 goals from open play in 2010. Clearly that deserves 18k/week If he cannot accept a reasonable offer, he can go down south and be found out for the average player he is. What a crock of shit you should have a good look at your big pal Lafferty's stats 14 goals for Rangers in 68 games fucking prolific or what.
  23. I'd sell both, Boogie puts his country before the Queens eleven and we've an able deputy in Alexander even though he didn't look comfortable last night against THE ENEMY he's always steady and has never let us down.
  24. I think Boyd has sometimes been treated unfairly by Rangers they've wanted to punt him nearly every transfer window he's been left out not only in the big games but I remember him being dropped for a game against Aberdeen think it was last season, he was also left out in the league cup final against Dundee United a couple of season back and then came on and saved Walters arse by scoring a goal to keep us in it in 90mins he then done the same in extra time and another kick in the teeth was not even getting on against THE ENEMY last night even for 10mins when we needed a goal, Boyd owes Rangers fuck all he's been great value for money unlike some not mentioning any names and this is not a biased comment, end of fucking rant.
  25. I'd definitely keep Edu he's got potential I'd get shot of Naisy not just because of the old firm game I just dont think he'll ever cut it in a Rangers jersey, Beasley is more interested in designing jewellery and is always injured so he can go, if someone offered 2 million for Lafferty I'd take it in a minute, Broadfoot shouldn't be offered another contract, Stevie Smith will definitely be off, I'm not sure about Novo but I'd keep Weir if not as a player in some sort of coaching role, as we all know whose going and staying will obviously be down to the purchase of the club hopefully the sooner the better.
