  1. Good to see them looking like they actually want to win. Kayal's pep talk seems to be working.
  2. If all of our players who got yelled at had that response, Lafferty and Edu would have had more square goes with guys last season alone than Mohamed Ali had in his entire career.
  3. Doesn't matter if the man was one thing or the other, that is much too high a price to pay. Hope you are at peace now Gary.
  4. If Ally sets us up not to get beat, we're fucked, the tarriers have shown us the only way to beat them is to be all over them like a rash from the git go. They've had a couple of results, but that defense of theirs is still shite. Just hope Ally can hold his nerve. We still need to come out that coma we've been in though, or it wont matter what we do. Wish we had Naisy back.
  5. The way the rest of them were playing, the poor fucker must have thought he was back wi the sheep.
  6. Seems they were struggling near the end, must have been tiring for them to have to finish a match with the the opposition still having 11 players on the park. Nice to see they had a penalty to replace a sending aff though (ref must have been breaking them in gently). The bookies should be taking bets on when/if they have to go a full match without either. Doesn't seem to put a dent on their vhictim status though, brass necked bastards.
  7. Anyone know how many players have been sent off against the tarriers, so far this season, and how it compares to other teams ? I may be biased, but it seems like one a week.
  8. The sheep were saying there were about 3-4 hundred well fans standing in a otherwise empty 2000 seat section. The stewards started wading in and knocking them over seats, as soon as well fans started having a go back, the pricks called in the polis. Somebody should tell these big shot stewards to get a grip, before they cause some real bother.
  9. Have never done it (truth), but I don't have a problem with full time booing, especially after a lazy performance like today's. Detest when they pick on one player and give him laldy week after week. How they think that is going to get him to improve, beats me.
  10. We got a point more than we fuckin deserved. Pure utter fuckin shite.
  11. If I live till I'm 200 I still don't think I'd be able to figure out what compels stoat the baws to do what they do. Thank fuck.
  12. If true then there must be something seriously wrong with this boy(well we know that, but looks as if he could do some real damage if left to roam free). Sorry if already posted.... from the Daily Express. HEARTS PLAYER ARRESTED IN SEX OFFENCE INQUIRY Saturday November 19,2011 By Stephen Wilkie HEARTS star Craig Thomson is facing court after he was charged with a sex offence, the Scottish Daily Express can reveal. Thomson was quizzed by Lothian and Borders detectives after flying to Scotland from Lithuania earlier this month. The 20-year-old had been farmed out to Kaunas FC, also owned by Tynecastle chief Vladimir Romanov, in August. He jetted into Edinburgh following the club’s final match of the Lithuanian season and was detained by officers. Thomson, a rising star of the Scotland Under-21 international team, was formally arrested after being questioned over the two-year-old allegations The defender, from Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, was later charged and reported to the Procurator Fisca A file on the allegations has been passed to the Crown Office in Edinburgh, which will decide whether to take the case to court Thomson moved to Kaunas and was given the No 46 shirt on a loan deal, remaining on the Tynecastle club owner’s payroll. He was seen as one of Scotland’s rising stars and made his debut for Hearts in August 2009, despite being a lifelong fan of Edinburgh rivals Hibernian. His switch to the Lithuanian side was kept hush-hush and he played the full 90 minutes of his first game, a 3-1 home win over Kruoja, setting up their first goal. But he returned to Scotland almost three weeks ago and was taken to a police station near his home to be interviewed over the allegations against him. A Lothian and Borders Police spokeswoman confirmed that officers had questioned and charged the player. She said: “We can confirm that a 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with an historic sexual offence. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.” A spokeswoman for the Crown Office said Thomson has been reported for possible prosecution. She added: “We can confirm that the Procurator Fiscal at Edinburgh received a report concerning a man aged 20, in relation to an alleged incident on 11 April 2009. The case remains under consideration.” A Hearts FC spokesman declined to comment.
  13. From the today's record. I think this groin brigade are finally going to bite of more than they can chew. Celtic fans 'Green Brigade' snub Strathclyde Police plea for talks over IRA chants Nov 17 2011 By Alan Marshall ǝpɐbıɹq uǝǝɹb ǝɥʇ last night knocked back Strathclyde Police's invite for showdown talks over pro-IRA chanting. Assistant chief constable Campbell Corrigan spoke out in Wednesday's Record Sport to request a meeting with the Celtic fan group whose songs have sparked disciplinary probes by both UEFA and the SPL. Corrigan was keen to spell out the consequences if they refuse to clean up their act and ǝpɐbıɹq uǝǝɹb ǝɥʇ have now responded by issuing the following statement: "Over the past few days Strathclyde Police have orchestrated a media campaign to tarnish our group as bigots, as justification for their power-grabbing and the Scottish Government's new anti-Football Bill - a Bill that criminalises football fans and the Celtic support in particular. "Realising they face a challenge from fans opposed to the Bill, the politicians and police need a scapegoat and they've decided we fit the bill. "Lurid headlines about our supposed 'songs of hate' have been followed up with a demand from Assistant Chief Constable Campbell Corrigan for us to meet him for a dressing-down. "We have yet to be formally invited to meet Corrigan but we are happy to respond to his public offer with a public response, and to tell him in the firmest possible terms that we have no intention of meeting him and letting him wag his finger in our face. "Corrigan's police force have spent hugely disproportionate resources on policing and gathering intelligence on the Celtic support, and ourselves in particular, including constant video surveillance at matches and a range of petty harassment. "Out of concern with the policing of football fans and the Offensive Behaviour at Football Bill we, alongside the other established Celtic fan organisations, formed Fans Against Criminalisation. "On October 29 we held a peaceful and very successful demonstration in George Square to oppose the SNP's anti-Football Bill. "In what seems like a direct response, Corrigan's police force have since acted against us and the Celtic support. "At the match v Hibs that afternoon the police, with no regard for fan safety, waded into our section of the ground in an attempt to make arrests of unknown fans. "Match commander Eddie Smith then made a complaint to the SPL about offensive chants and after the subsequent match with Rennes in the Europa League he made a similar complaint to UEFA. Such a complaint is unprecedented." The statement continued: "Campbell Corrigan has today been on radio shows, further scapegoating our group. We note he is also insisting he will be meeting Celtic fan organisations to tell us all how to behave. "After the police's attack on Celtic fans following the Fans Against Criminalisation demonstration, two Celtic fan organisations asked them for a meeting to discuss their behaviour. Match commander Eddie Smith refused to meet them and his superior, Wayne Mawson, refused to speak of the events of that day."
  14. Rhinestone cowboys. We could make a chant out of this.
  15. You can almost set your watch for when they'll roll the next one out, it seems to be averaging about one a month. It really must be a conspiracy that we are 12 points ahead of these "allstars". Liewell has the clowns wrapped tightly round his wee finger, he must pish himself laughing to sleep every night. Long may it continue.
  16. He is not their flavour of the month any longer. Seemingly he says that singing the praises of a terrorist group is not on. They are starting to lose their handers.
  17. Liewell must have promised the reporters a big bung if they actually ever sell one of these "multi million pound" donkeys.
  18. According to the papers, cellics super scouts must have added about a hunner million to their assets in the last year alone. Here's another that's value has gone up about a hundred fold, just by pulling on that hooped tap. Adam Chase By ROBERT GRIEVE Published: 13 Nov 2011 Add a comment Add a comment (3) PREMIER League pair Fulham and Everton are considering a January swoop for Celtic defender Adam Matthews. SunSport can reveal the Welsh kid, 19, has emerged as a top target for the two English clubs. Versatile Matthews is contracted to Celts until 2015 and has told friends he is in no hurry to leave Parkhead. But a bid of around £5million could tempt chief executive Peter Lawwell to sell a player who cost just £200,000 in the summer. Four-times capped Matthews is proving to be one of Neil Lennon's best signings after a superb start to his Hoops career. He was signed as a right-back but has shifted to the other side of defence with Emilio Izaguirre injured. Lennon signed experienced Badr El Kaddouri on loan but Matthews has kept him out of the side and has been earning rave reviews. He was seen as one for the future when he was snapped up from Cardiff City in the close season. But Matthews instantly won over boss Lennon who would be reluctant to lose him after just half a season at the club. Fulham and Everton are both desperate to sign right-backs, though, and Matthews has climbed their target list. Davie Moyes sent his chief scout Robbie Cook to see Matthews in action with Fulham scouting him FIVE times this seaso Read more: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/3933125/Adam-Chase.html#ixzz1deFH0GOG
  19. Here's a cracking wee conversation about it between a couple of kerryfail intellectuals..... Something smells fishy about this one. For instance, why is a senior policeman or any policeman in an official capacity, reporting anything at all to UEFA? Agreed. Surely it should be someone impartial like FARE? /end quote. Positive they were in earnest annaw.
