If you've installed it through steam shouldn't it be saved onto your steam account, making it possible for you to continue playing without the disk?

I play it in windowed mode so can flick between things and it runs fine doesnt stop

No. I'm enjoying it more. The ability to add and take away leagues and countries is a welcome addition. Was so frustrating when I wanted more of a variety on where to manage and then realised I could only pick from a few leagues.

Download the editor from Steam, load it up. Search out the Premiership and swap a team with Rangers
Take a note of the teams you're swapping with to keep you right like this.

Then save database as what you want to keep it separate from the original, start a new game and tick to start your database. Then you have Rangers in the Premier league.
