  1. That is exactly the scenario most fans would wish for.The more detailed statements that are made by involved parties the more they can be analysed and responded to.
  2. Cant fault that but on the first issue it would be interesting to hear other Directors arguments in mitigation.Being kept in the dark and fed shit is no excuse but if that is the case it needs to come out.
  3. Ultimately SDM has to accept responsibility.I get the impression he treated them like mushrooms and they were happy to go along.
  4. I honestly dont believe we know the half of it and a lot more water has to flow before we do.King for instance is saying on the Clyde interview that he was only aware of the full extent of the EBT's after the sale to Whyte. What else did he and his fellow Directors not know about? I have played golf with King and he is not the devil many make him out to be.Obviously he didnt disclose anything to me but I havent made up my mind about him one way or the other yet.Like the vast majority of Rangers fans I just want to see a successful Team on the pitch and all this financial stuff and Board Room battles is way beyond me.
  5. I suppose the more they respond to each other publicly then the more detail many have been seeking will come out.
  6. STV are reporting that David Murray is expected to make a statement today in response to King's.
  7. Daily Mail reporting its a done deal: McCoist saved from squad of youth players as Rangers accept 75 per cent wage cut By John Edwards Last updated at 11:12 PM on 6th March 2012 Comments (0) Share Rangers players have accepted a 75 per cent cut in wages to prevent the squad being decimated by up to 15 redundancies. At one stage the club's administrators threatened to axe the club's top five earners, plus 10 others, as they tried to reduce monthly outgoings by £1.2m. Glum: Rangers manager Ally McCoist arrives at Murray Park on Tuesday It would have left manager Ally McCoist with an Ibrox squad made up mainly of youth-team players, but was avoided when the stunned players agreed to have their pay docked by three-quarters. It meant the club's biggest earners, midfielder Steven Davis and keeper Allan McGregor, had their weekly wage of about £28,000 slashed to £7,000. Cut-price: Steven Davis has seen his wages slashed to around £7k per week The revised deals will be in force until Rangers come out of administration or find new owners. As a sweetener, many agreements contained extra clauses, such as a minimal buy-out figure so they could join another club for a nominal fee.
  8. Facts are that Thompson is part of a cabal that is threatening to exclude us from the SPL or only allow a much weakened Rangers in ( to protect their TV money no doubt).Anyone who supports any of these Clubs who are threatening us is doing us more harm than good.Taking away the hand that feeds them and spending it with Rangers will reverse that position.
  9. Sounds like Liewell or some of his vhermin at work.
  10. I definitely wont be buying a ticket for this one. There is only one way we can show Thompson what we think of him and that is to hit him in the pocket.Time for the Supporters Clubs to take a stand against our enemies even if it means the Team has no support in the ground. Our season is over and I would much rather save the ticket money to give back to the Rangers in some way in the future.
  11. bradley palmer‏@bradley_whufc Close Transfer Update: Talks with Mervan Celik are underway as the player is a free agent. Whu keen to sign him as extra width and pace.
  12. Didnt give much away other than there are Players at the Club who dont want to leave but may have too.Sad,sad day and for anyone who thinks this is only about money Hang Your Head In Shame ( aye you.Nikica feckin Jelavic).
  13. John MacKay‏@RealMacKaySTVReply Retweet Favorite · Open RT @STVkeith: STV understands Rangers players are currently going in to see the administrators one by one to learn their fate. I wont be leaving Rangers today.Anyone joining me?
  14. And refused a redundancy package to save jobs.Couldnt eat, sleep or think according to SSN reports.Just shows how badly these Players have been affected and we are moaning about performances.
  15. The main point missing from your argument is the quality on show. There is no doubt that fans who would otherwise not bother to show for games at the likes of Tannadump are attracted by a visit from the Rangers and will buy a ticket.Without us and over a period of time the quality on view in the SPL will get to a point where fans will find alternative attractions.Do you honestly believe that modern day people will be satisfied watching poor quality versus even poorer quality when their TV screen can show them the very best? There is no such thing as a level playing field in football and I mean anywhere. The money men made sure of that.We already compete in a League of pretty poor standard and we do bring a level of Player well beyond that which is normally on show.Take that out of the equation and there will be no need for even the bheasts to have a decent level which all spells declining standards and attendances.
  16. FFS seems they dont know what they saying: Hayley McQueen‏@HayleyMcQueenReply Retweet Favorite · Open We'll keep you up to date on Rangers after players proposed paycuts backed by Scottish PFA, it's still however 2 b agreed by administrators
  17. Hayley McQueen‏@HayleyMcQueenReply Retweet Favorite · Open The Rangers players have agreed 2 take paycuts 2 avoid redundancies at the club Highest earners 75% cut, mid 50% & lowest 25% details on SSN
  18. To just routinely expect the Players to take a massive wage cut to sort out a problem which is not of their making seems a bit unfair to me.
  19. A good debut but I wouldnt start raving about him just yet.He is going to need time to develop his confidence and grow into the Team.He was pretty anonymous in the second hald and we definitely missed Edu's running and covering.
  20. I sat straight in line with it and it was a stonewaller.I am actually at the stage where I think that we too need to spend 12 months complaining about every Referee and every decision.Get them fired or removed from their job.Its worked wonders for the scum.
  21. I wont be holding my breath on that one.I honestly think they have sent the scum a huge message that H.. is OK and we will hear it big time when they come to Ibrox.I can just see us respond in kind and big,bad Rangers being all over the front pages. If H.. is to be outlawed then surely a few arrests today would have sent out a very big message to the entire Scottish football supporting population.
  22. When they started with that shite I specifically kept an eye on them and the Polis to see what they would do.Needless to say they did nothing so what does that tell us and the scum about the H word and the use of it?
  23. My thoughts are what a load of fucking pish.
  24. Given the amount of stick Salim has taken, especially on here, isnt it just great to watch how he has delivered on the pitch when nobody expected it.You cant beat a good old rags to riches story especially if you are an old softy and sentimentalist.
