  1. 2-0 up already ya beauty & wee hunt diving like a fanny (thank you mr linesman) about time we got a decision for us.
  2. I'll be going to Ibrox, but on the offchance I don't get in, I've heard they ARE putting up screens in george square, but no alcohol allowed, but with dozens of bars around the place, I can't see how they'll stop you getting a drink.
  3. Robbie Fowler. I always wanted him to sign for Rangers, but I think it's too late now, although names like Trevor Francis & Ray Wilkins still did a turn despite their age.
  4. Not even a story. I'm sure I remember this was the same situation as when Soooooouness left. He had spoken to David Murray & as Murray put it, he didn't wan't anyone at Rangers who didn't wan't to be there, so maybe from a jounos point of view he was sacked. But, if it was as bad as the papers make it, do you really think he'd be back at Ibrox, I think not. Must have been light on news to drag that one up again. :unionflag:
  5. It f**king drives me nuts when I hear all these daft c**ts going on that if Rangers lose the league & the UEFA cup it will have been a pish season, even if they win the scottish cup. (yes it was posted on here) Being a Rangers supporter means you support them through thick & thin & stay to the end shouting out your support although sometimes it can be hard, I know. I remember going to watch Rangers before Sooooouness came, & singing "Greig Must Go" (sorry Mr Greig) up the back of the Copeland. We were getting beat week in week out, but we still went. Then when Sooooounes arrived, we couldn't get tickets on our own bus for all the glory hunters appearing. We were only 14 & 15 & as hard as we tried, tickets went first to the "new mates" that arrived on the bus. Glory hunters are the ones who turn up just expecting to win every game & it's not going to happen. Admittedly I haven't been to the games for a few years as my wife works on a saturday & my wee boy who's only 4 wouldn't sit still, believe me I tried it a couple of times & missed half the game. I'm hoping to get back in the next year or so & take my wee boy with me so he can be part of the next generation of supporters. I want Rangers more than anything to win the lot & yes I will be totally pissed off if the tims sneak in & steal the league, but at the end of the day Rangers are MY team & I'll support them whatever. phew, thats enough of my ranting now. COME ON THE GERS :unionflag:
  6. After watching this, I'd nearly forgotten how good Davie Cooper was (I didn't really, it's only a figure of speech). Laudrup came close, but that's as close as anyone will ever get.Cooper will always will be my hero. :unionflag:
  7. Any old punks out there may remember Stiff Little Fingers. While doing my usual trawl about the websites I found this click on the image for a better view. Support from the Fingers?? :unionflag: Meant to say, the bass player is Ian McCallum, he's from scotland & he's a bluenose.
  8. Only an idea so don't shoot me down. Seems a bit obvious to me, but why not rake out the kilts, well we are a scottish club. I'm sure if you haven't got one you could cadge one from a mate who isn't going. As long as it's not the tims tartan.
  9. Stop being so bloody negative. Ibrox WILL get packed out & Manchester WILL be full of Bears as well. Lets all just get together on this. We all want the same result here, Rangers to win the UEFA Cup. So stop your bloody moaning & wherever you are, Manchester, Ibrox, George Square, in the boozer or sitting at home. Get behind the bears. WE ARE THE PEOPLE!!!
  10. Have you ever said anything positive EVER??? How many times do they win those kind of games though? I say plenty positive mate, but I'm not blinded by my loyalty to the Gers. I'll call pish if I see it If you don't like a wide range of opinion, I suggest an internet football forum isn't for you. C'mon, he's a trainee journalist. He's gonna be loyal to no-one. Probably only on here to stir things up. LOL
  11. GCC (Glasgow Catholic Council) putting up the big screens for a Rangers game??? Holy f**k. Was that a flying pig I just saw.
  12. Would have to be HS. I didn't go to the pub to watch it as I didn't think the tims would throw it away. I was out the side of my house playing with my wee boy & had the radio on in the car with the window down. When I heard motherwell going ahead I grabbed my wee boy & was jumping about like a looney, but I calmed back down as I was convinced the tims would come back as they usually do. But when the second goal went in I went mental. Then Derek Johnstone was waffling a load of crap & didn't say what the score was at easter road. When the final whisle blew I just grabbed my wee boy & wife & hit the pub. The season before was fantastic as well, especially when that daft c**t sutton started going on about dunfermline lying down to us. Good just seeing those usual photos of the tims crying in the papers the next day. Ha Ha
  13. If the george square ones true, I can feel a sickie from work coming on.
  14. Isn't it funny that we haven't been reading in a certain papers phone in column how much money the taigs have been winning this year, by betting against us. They've probably got their phones cut off for not paying the bill. You must remember, giro money doesn't go far these days. :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:
  15. :unionflag: I'm not going to get to manchester due to folk getting their holidays in before me so, does anyone know if they'll open Ibrox & show it on the big screens. Although going by reading here & other fansites, there may be no Rangers supporters left in scotland, only me, sob sob.
  16. How can they honestly think by saying "don't travel if you don't have a ticket" that people aren't going to go. Are they totally stupid. We're British & have the right to go anywhere we want in Britain. Some daft taig polisman aint gonna stop us. I was at the UEFA cup final at hampden last year & george square was put aside for the seville fans & part of merchant city was put aside for espanyol. Surely they could do the same down in manchester. Ok there were no big screens in glasgow but that was probably down to the fact that as both teams were travelling from abroad, that there wasn't exactly a ticket shortage. Probably a good job too as someone would probably have got zapped as it pissed down.
  17. We used to wear the new strip for the scottish cup final (if we got to it) but I can't remember it ever being on sale until the summer.
  18. I think the umbrella one seems a good one seeing as Manchester is known as the rainy city. Only problem is the polis would probably take them off us saying they're offensive weapons. The polis hats also sounds good, I'm sure everyone would realise we were taking the piss back out of the tims about watching the bill, while they got f**ked in seville.
  19. The more italian is class "NOVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO". I thought my computer had jammed LOL.
  20. Sick as f**k, I can't get the time off. Everybody else had jumped in before me. But that doesn't mean I can't phone in sick from manchester. Whats the chances everyone being quiet while I'm on the phone LOL. Just can't believe it. Hopefully we'll go one better than the taigs & win it. As big marvins says BELIEVE
  21. It was all lies. They couldn't have taken that many, the final was on a wednesday, but they wouldn't have got their giro's until the friday.
  22. C'mon guys, we can do this. As big Marvin used to say (before everyone else stole it) KEEP BELIEVING :unionflag:
  23. McDonald - " Penalty ref, he's tied my laces together !!" Whitacker - "No way ref, I wiz just passing by with this tray of drinks........ffs where'd they go !!"
