After the match we hit the bars and ended up in a similar state to Madrid, on arriving back at the hotel we spent 30mins trying to get into the bed and breakfast.. .. eventually we had to admit defeat and phone the owner, he walks round the corner saying '' no no no my friends what are you doing? the hotel is accross the street''

Due to too much cerveza the night before in Madrid, We missed our valencia flight on tuesday morning roll on 4 and a half hour bus journey. when i say missed our flight, we woke up when our plane had already arrived in valencia. Good times!

You don't need to show travel insurance to get on a flight. For instance if you are insured through your bank account, like me, there is no paper work. When booking a flight you check that you have or will have insurance but no proof is needed.

We have almost 2,700 official travel club. I would be very surprised if there were only 300 extra Bears in Valencia, infact, that's a crazily low expectation. A realistic figure is 5,000 in my opinion but you just have to look at Villareal, Barca and a few other trips to Spain to see that we can easily break the 10,000 mark in travelling numbers. By the sheer amount of different routes the support are taking to get to Valencia i am expecting a very healthy support in the mestalla. Our other 2 lads tickets from spainticketbureau arrived at the hotel in Valencia yesterday so everyone is looking forward to that first cold beer at liverpool airport tomorrow. Enjoy the trip. It certainly seems like it is shaping up to be an almighty travelling support, My own estimate would be 7,000. With all the security and hardline approach being talked about by Rangers and Valencia. In the face of this i have no doubts there will be Bears all over the stadium. Follow Follow

Same situation mate, although we are going via madrid for a messy night in the capital then on to valencia on the day of the match. 2 have tickets, 2 don't. We went to sevilla and had no problems what so ever. same warnings different match.

They cannot sell to any foreigners? Valencia CF and the city survive on tourism, Valencia CF matches at the mestalla are one of the main attractions. You really think they are going to reject thousands of pounds of business on the basis you are not spanish, If anything that could be illegal? Too much scare mongering going on surrounding this trip. Didn't hear about that mate, official attendance wise, there were 17,000 empty seats v united, other sites had the attendance at lower. Either way i'm sure there will be plenty room for all the bears that are going without tickets.

What chance do we have when our own supporters (as above) are shite scared to stand up for themselves and sing our fans anthem. If you were to attend an away match this season with 2,000 bears belting out hello hello, would the shite run down your leg incase uefa, spl, police, sfa etc etc decided to put together another terrible argument as to why it shouldnt be sung? With timmy proudly now singing at every match home and away about being a feni*n army what case do they really have. Grrrrr. i'm away for a cuppa.
