  1. Whilst in the 3rd division, we'd still be going for a treble. Still thumping SPL sides en route to Hampden. It's not such a bad idea. Can't say the thought of facing third division sides is any less appealing than the likes of St Mirren & Inverness.
  2. We have a large travelling fan base from Northern Ireland at weekend home matches. Supporters also travel from all over Scotland and further at weekend matches. This was a mid week match on TV with still an excellent turn out considering. Hee haw to do with your comment
  3. Bigger official attendance at a meaningless, SPL, mid week league match against Dundee Utd being shown on TV than there would be at Chelsea v Man Utd at the Bridge
  4. They are on the strip.. Not above the crest because we hadn't won 50 league titles in 1972
  5. We are the People God save the Queen / various others with add ons reffering to God, follow follow etc The Sash my father wore / anything orange order related National anthem aside, all passed down from our supporter base largely being of the Protestant persuasion Do the Athiest amongst us simply sing along not believe what they are singing? For he is our God and We are the People! Psalm 95:7
  6. The SFA will rue the day they tried to bring Rangers to its knees.
  7. This won't happen. Some may choose to reject tickets for Sunday but those seats will be filled. I for one am not going to abandon my club in its hour of need against them. Boycott the SFA sponsors and should they refuse to go back on their disgrace of a ruling against the club, we WILL also boycott all away matches next season. We are the People
  8. Up to our knees in rich Yankees. Haha.
  9. No it doesn't.. that's just the Nacho we love
  10. What are the options if any for a pre match beer? Pub wise.. We are the people. Battle fever lads!
  11. Let's not concern ourselves with the motherwell result. It's now down to The Rangers to ruin their title party.. The way it should be. No Surrender
  12. Why is every thread regarding the red & black scarf campaign taken over by supporters who do not like the idea, do not like the colours, talk of it going to the Fighting Fund instead? 6000 scarfs were sold before the fighting fund was launched as additional needed revenue going towards the club. The money does not go to the fighting fund, it's a seperate campaign to buy tickets and fill the ground. The colours: Red @ Black are featured on our home kit, traditional colours that make up our strip. The colours: Last seasons third strip was a huge success with the support.. it was Black & Red. Yes WVB, I await your reply on this subject.. as always however it has been a huge success and our support deserve nothing but credit for this. We Are The People
  13. "There is one other point worth making about D&P's outsider status, however: no Scottish firms wanted the work because they feared for their windows." I can't really say i see a problem with this.. because he's probably right
  14. The Rangers do not have any new colours. As for the Red & Black. These colours are worn by The Rangers at Ibrox and have been for generations. The fighting fund is not up and running yet.. In the mean time the support is buying these scarfs in the thousands each day to help raise money for the club. Why some on here place a negative spin on that is beyond me. It yet again shows our Loyalty.
  15. Unfortunately they can. The football politics of the UK will always be a headache for UEFA. If the old firm were to play in England they could still be put forward to represent Scotland in Europe by the SFA. Like wise is being suggested in Wales. It's messy but possible
  16. Not the Rangers colours at all.. The Rangers wear Red & Black as part of our strip traditionally at every home match. Rangers supporters know it's a Rangers scarf as there will be thousands wearing them. It's a show of support in a difficult time to raise money for the club.. and I hope the scarfs won't be needed next season as we'll be out of Admin.
  17. Ok & points taken but the fighting fund isn't up and running yet. In the mean time we are raising thousands upon thousands in another way. I, like many others will also contribute to the fighting fund. I see the scarf campaign as an additional £7.50 per fan going to the club, not £2.50 lost. Try and look at it that way. Match tickets / Merchandise / most other shows of support for the club will also include a % that will not go to the club itself, however all are a good thing. Watp
  18. You choose not to join this fans campaign because of £2.50 manufacturing costs fine. But why continue to follow up on posts showing support and the excellent work our fans are doing by pointing out what is not going to the club. Your argument would also suggest buying Rangers merchandise, match tickets online, actually travelling to the match are all a waste of time because they all contain money being spent which is not going directly to Rangers.
  19. Selling 1000+ scarfs each day. Loyal & True
  20. I'm sure I read at the time that our Orange away top was the best selling away shirt in Europe.. I've no doubts It would hold the same popularity today. A lot of £s. The media and timmy would have a field day - so nothing new there
  21. Senseless? No more redundancies? Scarfs are stupid? Yet you are saying to put £10 into the fighting fund? That statement doesn't add up. Our support is showing incredible loyalty by campaigns such as the red&black scarf and the fighting fund. All means of putting money into the club are a good thing, none are senseless or stupid mate. The colour of the scarf issue.. The Rangers team will be wearing Red and Black at our next home game as they usually do. We are the People.
  22. True the stadium wouldn't be full for standard league matches. The same story with most top European clubs, Real Madrid, Barcelona etc. But we would sell out on the bigger occasions such as old firm and certain European matches. We have led the way in stadium upgrades and expansion in the past. It should be considered
  23. yes, not suggesting we sing anything other than support of our own team.. Robbie Williams let me entertain you is played over the tannoy, I'm not suggesting we sing that either.
