Zenit, Spartak, CSKA, Dynamo Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, Anzhi and Rubin Kazan are all decent enough teams, That joint league would have a good few teams who could be competitive in European football.

Apart from Dynamo Kiev, FC Metalist, Dnipro and Shaktar the Ukrainian teams are pretty dross.
