Got nike lunars and they have split at the bit where the chunky foam meets the shoe, but still dont let water in, think some vaseline in the crack would see them waterproof all winter, golf depot are doing them for £50 just now so got myself another pair !

Had lots of fun match play pressure situations..... 3 down 4 to play...... hooked my drive into rough over a foot high..... spent a good 10 mins looking and eventually found it..... he was bang in the middle of the fairway.... 120 yards out I just hit and hope with a 9 iron as hard as I could to get through the rough, stuck it to about 6" somehow and ended up winning, Worst one was when I missed a 2 foot putt to win a match on 17.... ended up going down 18 and was still sick to my stomach that I had missed that putt, sliced my drive, had to lay up for the green...... felt absolutely sick could have snapped my bag in 2 there and then! luckily he pinged his second OOB at the back of the green and that was all she wrote..... was dreading having to try and get up and down from 60 yards for par though !

Managed to get a round booked on the centenary at gleneagles (same as ryder cup course) for mid november.... praying the weather holds out

Shot an 80 (67) today.... was going good until 13 and the rain came down and shot a 7 in all the mayhem...... then finished with 5 pars current clubhouse leader in my division but theres no prize money for the optional medals

took some boys up from my work today and managed to get a box of branded pro v1's for closest to the hole longest drive and stableford winner played pretty shit 31 points but beat 30 and 28 points to win also took longest drive \o/ 3 times today I hit ripping drives on par 4s and left myself a 54 wedge into the green... and took double bogey every time :| what the hell...... The times I drove it into the rough were the times I made par :/ but 88 isnt a disaster considering how bad I played

after winning the medal 2 weeks ago and getting cut to 13 shot a 68 today in the howling wind and rain :o

got put out of the doubles matchplay comp we were leading from the first to the 14th and then yours truly pumped one into the trees on 14 & 15 to never recover :/ to be fair all the holes we won were down to me anyway so dont feel too bad about fucking it up in the end! chipped to 3 feet on the first to take the hole and after they knocked it to 6" on the second I pitched it right into the cup from 30 yards to go 2 up...... We should have ran off with it from there but failed to put the foot down, always next year
