Said it yesterday but one of the real positives to the Gerrard appointment is that he isn't a "Rangers man".
Had my fill of people coming in that have that title. Too many decisions are made as a result due to blind fucking loyalty to mates
Our last 3 managers weren’t Rangers men. That went well.

He is as bad as Murty !!! Yesterday’s team selection and then the substitution bring on Hodson and moving Halliday into the middle cost us 3 points
A bit harsh. Hodson (however shite he is) is able to play left back. It was either that or bring Docherty into midfield.

Can’t see it on here, looks like Jimmy isn’t part of Gerrards staff and is leaving the club.
I think his experience in this country would have been invaluable for Gerrard, even for one year.

Tav, Candeias. Maybe Rossiter or Murphy. (Edited to save my blushes)
I don’t think any of us have an idea, given the scale and quality of incoming players can only be guessed at.
An easier question might be who definitely won’t play a part next season.
Tavernier and candeias can’t play in the same team, they’re too simular. Hopefully Gerrard notices that.

There must be some debate as to whether Tav can be considered as a true defender. Probably more an attacking midfielder.
Well maybe that’s our problem. We’re only playing 2 at the back!
I think Taverniers a shambles when a wingers running at him. He is good going forward.
Maybe play him at RM and switch Candeias to LM.
I would also send Murphy back to Brighton, he’s not worth £1.2m.

Most of them, but not all. Tav does not deserve the boot, Rossiter should be allowed to complete his contract and given the chance to prove himself fit . No criticism towards our keeper today either .
Taverniers cost us 10+ goals this season. I’ve never seen a defender who just lets people run past him so often.

Played well today. Boy do we need him fit next season.

No chance. The only conspiracy is these useless buffoons passing themselves off as footballers.
Absolutely skelped off celtic, losing games to Hamilton, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Progres.

Tavernier is dross. Sad excuse for a captain.

Goss was terrible. Had to be taken off.

If, big if, he buys in a skrtel type, make him captain.

Watching premier league preview, Paul Lambert has as much personality as a wet fart on a Sunday.

I was watching Barry earlier and I know he was Declared bankrupt a while back, and I know that doesn't mean for these guys that they are pauperised as it would be for you and me. But what would be interesting to know would be since 1998 when he broke into the Rangers team, what roughly would have been his career earnings before tax. Just looking for a ballpark figure. Including wages, sponsorship etc.
You working for HMRC big man?

Like that Chelsea training top.

apparently, he was on £7K a week and wanted £10K. We offered £9k and hamburg offered £12K. Goodbye Mr Bates.
Thats what i read anyway...
He was on £200k a year which by my calculations is just under 4 grand a week. Don’t know what was on offer, would only be guesswork.

He is good. Obviously it’s a lot to do with money. But I wonder the logic in spending a couple of years trying to break into a team, to jump ship just when it looks like your 1st choice.

9 in a row?
Good question mate, honestly can’t remember when. Matchday during that period is a bit of a haze, hasn’t changed that much these days mind you.
Aye I can remember it during 9 in a row (pretty late in the decade). Can’t recall it before that.

surely with a company like Hummel we could ask for a unique design instead of a generic template design
We won’t get a unique design.

Or possibly that his most likely destination would be to a place that teams regularly seem to pay sums in the region of £12m for players like Ross McCormack.
We’ll be lucky to get £2m for Tavernier, he really is a poor defender.

I think he will keep at least the following:-
Tav - unless a £5m bid comes in.
McCrorie
John
Jack
Dorrans
Docherty
Murphy
Windass
Candieas
Morelos - only if a silly money bid does not come in, which it shouldn't.
I think all the others will be surplus to requirements and will be able to go for next to nothing. Fod being the only one who I think will go for decent money.
That statement in bold makes me think your either on class A drugs, or are of a feeble mind.

That keepers either massive or has a very small head.

Are you joking?
Weve a few very reliable sources on here, like Kenny Millers neighbour or any shit talking taxi driver who picked up a guy in a suit fae the airport.
Seriously though, my ex used to work for a media company and used to give me a few snippets, nothing meaty just business stuff. Cow ended up shagging a guy in her work though .....
