Think his loan move to Sheffield utd falling through will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. I reckon he'll be given a chance to play just off the striker due to the lack of options we have up front and injuries, and I'm really hoping that nearly being shipped out on loan will give him a kick up the arse that he seems to need and take his chance when he gets it to show the talent he obviously has! Anyone else still hopeful that fleck will turn out to be a big rangers player for years to come or has he been written off like so many others in the past?

The thing is I did expect him to score, and he should have. I was just pissed off last night but the thing he is supposed to offer to the team is being great finisher when called upon. I'm not blaming him for last night, far from it. But the decision to offer him a new contract baffles me. Can anyone really say they are happy with Healy as a plan b when things aren't going right and need to be changed?

Does anyone know the full squad that's travelled?

With the likes of ness,fleck,wylde,hutton,cole,hemmings etc all breaking into the first team squad,is there any other promising youngsters we can look forward to seeing in the next few years? Heard quite a bit about Naismith,espling,McCabe,is there any others to get excited about?

I would make sure we get verhoek and go back for estigarribia(sp), play them on each wing,keep lafferty and Naismith as options upfront and get jamie murphy in too.although I think Naismith is better on the right wing,he's more than capable of gettin 20+ goals playing up top with jelavic.salim could probably score bucket loads playing up front with jela!

We miss a player like Thomson,who I think would compliment Davis.if ness could stay fit I reckon he'd be the perfect partner for davis,but he can't so we need to find someone quick!

I cannot for the life of me understand why jig gets a game or what he actually offers to the team.same goes for edu,but for some reason I still think there is a half decent player in there somewhere! On another note,how on earth did Whittaker convince ally to make him one of tge highest paid players at the club? Versatility doesn't make u a great player.he's good sometimes,when he's confident,but most of the time he's a bombscare!

Just seen he is having a medical at hamburg ahead of a proposed 1.75 million pound move. Think at that price he is a player we should have been looking at,young with potential and a re-sale value,just like Bartley. We could do worse that look at players who aren't getting a look at at the big clubs in the epl,a few bargains have been found in recent years,such as taraabt and Scott Sinclair.anyone else agree??? Sign a few of these guys and mix them with the best young Scottish talent,like ness wylde and hopefully goodwillie!
