How much investment was put into the squad at the start of the season? How’d we get on against Malmo? Gerrards team were struggling and were only in that position due to the tims having their worst start to a season in fuck knows how long. It has everything to do with the board, we’ve let a league go full swing by standing still.

Without getting into a huge debate, no one ignores it, he played most of his career at Liverpool and had transformed us; some forget we were struggling towards the end of that season and Smith dragged us over the line. You cleary have held onto your grudge, which is fair enough, but to suggest he effectively doesnt give two fucks about us is absolute nonsense.

Quite impressed by Sands today. Tidy on the ball, makes very few mistakes, reads the game well. Hopefully this is him settled in and he’ll kick on.
