  1. This is all leading me onto my second point. Conspiracy theory time. Why did hmrc allow Whyte to run up non payment for what ten months? Why not let it be known after two or three? Did hmrc know they had lost the tax case against rangers in the feb when they decided to push for admin. Was the paye allowed to be run up to allow them to do this?
  2. You all seem to be coming down the same way I am thinking. I was rounding things up a bit but in my head I was getting ebt 80 million. Ticketus 30 million. Wee tax case 5 million. Paye 14 million. To me that's 129 million. Total debt was 135 million so we owed 6. But some of that six was future instalments on players such as Wallace and jelavic. I am dreading the thought that we actually went into admin with no actual debt because of Whyte being a conman.
  3. I am sitting here thinking of the Whyte saga. I have a question. If we take the total debt figure published by duff and phelps and remove the ebt claim as currently we have been found innocent. Then remove the ticketus debt as a court has told Whyte it is his to pay back. Then remove the small tax case amount that Whyte was to pay as part of the purchase agreement. Then take off the paye that Whyte decided to run up over his time in charge. Where does this put the total debt figure at? Did we actually have a debt that couldn't be paid? Also does anyone know how much the rangers fighting fund paid off to the small creditors?
  4. A davie weir. To bring on the defenders. A barry ferguson. We don't really have anyone who can dictate tempo. A nacho novo / kenny miller. Nippy sweety of a striker who will Harry and harass opposition defenders and defend from the front. We have a goalscorer in little.
  5. Hang on. Your all getting yer knickers in a twist. Independent panel appointed as rangers are trying to say players broke contracts. Now we have a legal bill. Of course we have a legal bill. We are chasing the players for losses incurred. It am I reading it wrong???
  6. If I was in charge I would be aiming along these lines. Bell (cheaper than Alexander) / young back up. Wallace / young back up Mcculloch (only place I can play him) / perry (again only place and already there as back up) Heggarty (needs to play to learn) / ??? As back up Cole (looks the part when fit) / ???? For when cold ain't fit. Templeton / aird as cover Ferguson / Hutton as cover Mcloud (learn off fergie) / (Hutton as cover) Crawford as cover ???? / ???? No ideas for right mid. But I want a right mid. Not a striker out of position. Boyd / hemmings as cover Little / McKay as cover. Cribari - there is a player in there surely. But not needed if mcculloch shoehorned in at the back. The Greek - not got it I'm afraid Faure - doesn't seem to have it though ain't seen him at centre half enough Black - useless not worked out at all Sheils- no natural position. Hasn't shown me enough to justify being kept. The long term aim surely is to have heggarty cole mcloud Hutton McKay and hemmings ready to at least be spl squad players. Preferably first team regulars with plenty of appearances and ability.
  7. We need to look at this from two sides. 1. We need to get back to where we belong. 2. We need to be ready to be back when we get there. So although we need a long term plan we also need to look after here and now. My opinion. Alexander would be kept. But bell is younger and cheaper. So bell would be my pick. Barry ferguson or Kevin Thompson. Either would do me. Because Lewis mcloud need to learn off better players than black. Boyd. The man will score goals. We need goals. But 5k must be maximum wage for next season. Play well. Earn a new deal. We need experience and youth. The youth need to learn on the job. Be talked through it. We basically need a David weir and a Danny Wilson in every position.
  8. Oh any another statement should come out of rangers right now. That we find the use of the word "h***" to be offensive. They are even getting away with using that one on national radio.
  9. We all know what is banned... Or at least we all should know. But the song shouldn't be banned. The "sectarian" word should be banned. The "sectarian" word only needs changed to something else. By the way that something else can be as offensive as we like as long as it has no religious meaning. So..... Hello hello use rebel / Celtic. Super rangers use rebel. Npor is probably a no no. Basically. No mention of taig catholic Fenian pope and we are fine. But. Rangers should be coming out with clear instructions. Not "inappropriate songs" they should be saying song ur hearts out but change the fucking offensive words. Remember the famine song being highlighted on tv. With the bouncing ball following the words karaoke style. Well f**k me rangers. U have to massive karaoke tvs in corner of the stadium. Put acceptable words up on the screens. Use a bouncing ball. Use the screens during a game. Tell the crowd what to sing. I want to sing hello hello and I'm quite happy to sing Celtic blood. Because guess what. Football songs are ment to be offensive. U are ment to upset the opposition and their fans. But we shouldn't use race colour or creed to offend. Rant over.
  10. Just had a thought. Man U sing it "busby boys" line is "if u are a city fan" could we sing it "if u are a septic fan - surrender or you'll die" no mention of blood for the hand wringers.
  11. Been thinking more about this song making a comeback. Would anyone not agree to changing it to Celtic blood? It's them I hate. Don't care what religion anyone is. Not to fussed on the Fenian brotherhood stuff either. But I really do hate Celtic. I propose an official rangers media move to change the word to Celtic and sing it loud and proud like we used to.
  12. I've just finished watching the game again. When it starts its instantaneous. It's loud. It's incredible. And a version of it needs to come back. Over to u union bears snd blue order. Publish us a song sheet. Get rangers on board. Use the screens as a bit of a karioki machine.
  13. And I to have the versions above. A big to tame for me. It's gotta have hello hello as the first words cause then everyone piles in.
  14. First time I've heard it for ages. First time the wife ever heard it. It rang out and she stood open mouthed at the noise. First time she has heard almost everyone sing it. So my thoughts. I want it back. We need it back. And to get it back am willing to sing a different word. One word changed would get the whole of ibrox singing instead of the bf1 who quite frankly are brilliant. So in my opinion, it's up to the blue order & union bears to come up with a version that won't see the club punished by anyone. They then need to print off fliers. Get words on advert boards. Words on screens. I want ibrox back to the cauldron of noise I experienced when we played Kiev & Leeds. So loud I thought my ears would bleed. So. Change one word. Bring it back. Be loud and proud.
  15. Who's the mole? It's definately that cunt Adrian, aged 39 3/4. Teams won't amalgamate cause someone tells them to. Teams may if they come to a business decision between them. But you will never force them. If you were starting Scottish football with a blank canvas you would probably limit it to about 20 teams due to population. But it's to late for that now. We have forty odd plus juniors and highland. Lets face it. An Ayrshire team would be a good start. But killie v Ayr is mental. No way under any circumstances would the fans merge.
  16. They are reaping what they sowed. They are the ones who started phoning embassies, contacting uefa, etc and saying listen to those bug bad rangers fans. Well u know what. They are also listening to them. What did they expect? Thing is. If u ask me football songs are ment to be offensive. That's the point. Ur trying to piss off the other lot at the opposite end if the ground. Well guess what Timothy. U lot caused that nugget salmond to stick his beak in. What should happen is both clubs should have said no more Ftp add ons. On more IRA crap.
  17. Ach, yer no looking at the big picture. Think PR. Wee diddy third division team bales out big spl powerhouse for the good of Scottish football. Spl only keeps going because of rangers. Tittle strip your saviour?
  18. I believe we still owe hearts the last payment for lee Wallace. 500 k due next summer I believe. I suggest we offer publicly to bail out the big spl team by paying the balance early. It's time for us to be the bigger man. It's time for us with the aid of the sfl to push through the changes that are needed to save Scottish football. Wages max percentage of turnover. Cheaper tickets. Standing areas. Maybe even offer to take the centre half who's name escapes me and driver off there hands for a nominal fee and see if the sfa will let transfer embargo slip to help out a struggling spl member club.
  19. Look. Can we stop with this get rid of ally crap. Give the bloke a chance will u. He has a complete new team. Look at the facts. Lee Wallace at left back is the only follow on from last season. I suppose u can count jig as the second follow on but he's up front now and ally was used to him holding in midfield. So basically ally has out together a complete new team that needs to bed in. Hence why he is always tinkering with the formation. He is trying to get a system that suits. Oh and this is his preseason that he's doing it in. My only thing with ally. Where the hell was Kyle Hutton? U can't get brought in, be a success, and be dropped. It will ruin moral. Black should have been made to fight for his place. Also. Playing folk out of position. Why is the Greek in midfield? Ally please read this. Please play 433. Three midfielders to win the battles. Width up front. Greek boy and Wallace bombing on. If u need to change it to play spl team in a cup tie. It is easy to drop one of the three deeper and the two wide strikers deeper giving u a 4141, 451, or even a kind of 41221. We need the ball on deck. We need templeton back. We need deano wider. Mcculloch through middle. Hutton in midfield as a passer. Mcloud and black with him. Back 4? Wallace Emilson perry zorba. The others will need to wait until form or injury dictates a change.
  20. My point was more that no restructuring has been done. So we are in exactly the same state as when Whyte took over. So without restructuring someone needs to invest a reported 10 million a season. So we are in same position with a Cva to pay. That's the bit not making sense to me.
  21. Got a question. Motherwell went into and out of admin with same owner did they not? John Boyle? Administrators came in and restructured the club so that it's outgoings could be met by its income. So why are our administrators only looking like selling on the club to someone else? Nothing has been restructured. No costs gave been reduced ( wage cuts are temp) and no income streams have been found. So what gave they actually done? Or am I missing something?
  22. Surely they ain't creditors. They are purchasing the tickets to sell to their scum. If the game was at parkhead they could ask us for money up front as our credit rating is shot and we would be purchasing the tickets up front. Give them the corner same as the rest. Or even better. None at all. Scum bastards.
  23. Is it at all possible the whoever the new buyer of a post administration rangers may be. The price of the club is the 20-24 million pound ticketus money. Whytes got the money as his "fee" and whoever buys us that'll be the price so that ticketus get there money back. Whyte gets the original ticketus money which he has in one of his companies plus a token pound. New buyer has a debt free rangers for 20 odd million plus a quid. I think Whyte may be dodgy. I don't really think he is stupid. And I don't really think he will have done anything criminal. I think he may well have had a potential buyer all lined up from day one. He's from around here. If he is fucking us he knows his life won't be worth living. If its bar-l it ain't really a place with no upset bears. On either side of the bars.
  24. The other thing i ment to add was our best two runs in europe in 92-93 and 2008 was achieved with a team full of scots. 2008 included alexander, mcgregor, ferguson, thompson, whittaker, Hutton (Till jan), Mcculloch, miller, weir, broadfoot.....not all homegrown but not to expensive either. (2-93 was under the 3 forigner rule.
