  1. £14m for 28% ???? Think Charles has been smoking something!! XD
  2. To be honest mate I think most sane business men are still pissing themselves a £14m for only 28% of the company. Green's some neck right enough.
  3. The negativity on here towards the football and the manager is extremely premature. We have a good wee side to look forward to come September.
  4. They'll wrestle control of the board room sooner than you think. Get the feeling many see this as a FF v RM event which has people cheering on Green to shove it up Dingwall etc.. There's serious concerns that we're haemorrhaging money left right and centre which needs to be addressed or at least clarified. Lets not be so quick to dispell the positive effect PM Biln etc could have.
  5. Green has said the club is in a mess so who In their right mind would invest money when you could try and wrestle power and change things by convincing other shareholders to support you in a vote.
  6. Green has been up to his nuts in dodgy doings...all McColl has done is put on record his position. Hardly the same thing.
  7. Exactly mate. No one will put more money in when you could gain enough support to wrestle control.
  8. McColl has already put money in, he's a shareholder. Basically McColl and friends will now try and convince other shareholders to side with them in a vote to get their own men in on the board. No more investment required for that.
  9. Was it you who put those Glentoran flags up in Hill Street??
  10. Don't give yourself too hard a time. You're both just naive and letting a personal dislike re. 'Jobs for the boys ' cloud your judgement.
  11. Really wish people would separate this issue from their dislike of McCoist. It's nothing to do with the footballing side. FFS.
  12. I always thought he was shifty but he won me over with the way he would defend the club. I know Craig Whyte was a cunt but it started to become clear that Green had conned him in some way. Then the racism stuff, then the £10 million war chest crap and now this mess the past few days. The fact that Walter is calling for us to support change is good enough fur me.
  13. Maybe there was a reason why he wouldn't touch the mess with a barge pole.
  14. Spot on Lucy. Now is not the time to put the boot into the manager. The real issue is what's happening behind the scenes. Serious trouble ahead if we don't get some stability. Ally's new team will do the business come September, a change in management would be an unnecessary risk.
  15. Exactly mate. The Ally Out Brigade are using the current crisis to firmly stick the boot in. The manager is just a sideshow, the real problems are in the board room, whether we're being run into the ground or not. Could bring in Mourinho tomorrow and we'd still be in serious shit.
  16. Apart from when he came out and told the fans that Lloyds were running the club.

  18. Bloody hell mate, try and keep your head. All this panicking is madness. We have assembled a decent side this year which should see a solid league campaign, a possible Scottish Cup run and hopefully a Ramsden final. We can then build on this success with some decent signings going Into the championship on route to the top tier again. Do you think we're gonna have a poor season if Ally stays??
  19. I'm not even thinking about the Tims. A few early champs league exits this year and next coupled with their crap attendances will see them unable to put together a team we would fear that much. The Premiership will be a poor one when we go back into the top flight. The sensible thing to do this season is to stick with Ally and support the team he has finally assembled. Any more upheaval or gambling on a new manager being any more capable of dealing with life at Ibrox could prove disastrous.
  20. Pull yourself together, stop panicking and keep calm. We have a good wee team to watch come September. Ok, you're probably upset because it's down to the Scottish Cup for us to meet old SPL teams. I really couldn't care less about them.
  21. Albion Rovers game showed what we have to look forward to this season. I'm not a fickle fan who'll let one result, with 8 new players sitting the stands, make me press the 'panic like a wee lassie' button.
