The majority of the fans have been great recently, of that there is no doubt. A number of them have been exceptional i.e., the fans that set up the RFFF, the red and black scarf initiative, over 47,000 at the legends game, etc. I accept that SOME people will be away on holiday but I don't accept, at a time when our very existence is at stake, we can't fill a 50,000 seater stadium. On the subject of finance, again I accept that in these difficult financial times SOME fans cannot afford to go to all, or even any of the games. However, what I said previously still holds. If this was a league decider, or a Cup Final, then SOME of those who are using finance as an excuse would, strangely, not have the same problem. Your use of the term "slagging fans off" is dramatic and, ever so slightly, misplaced.
