  1. Bit of 'gallows' (Build My?) humour at the end of a day like this
  2. Well put - embarrassed by playing at it again
  3. This is becoming far too well thought through.......... (I always wanted to go to Switzerland)
  4. I think he's awful & lose count of the fouls I want given against him whenever I see him! However..... he seems to know what he's about & reminds me strongly of the Hartson we COULD have had but missed & spent the next 5 (?) years making us regret it! Just wonder if he'd be allowed to get away with the 'rummel 'em up' stuff if he was a tarrier, but get called (and then banned) for every minor indiscretion if he was wearing a blue jersey?
  5. Haha! My wee town has 4 bridges - one a big railway viaduct that gets on biscuit tins, postcards 'n stuff! You could also have a boat with a net under it, for those that wanted to make a point, but weren't that committed!
  6. I take it you mean critical comments? To take them out of a fans context, Colin Wanker* was on Talksport this morning, said he'd had Jela scouted a few times while he was QPR boss - his words:'Frankly, he was awful'. *anagram
  7. The group IS turning over with some new faces who may not have heard it before.......
  8. Thought exactly the same. If he'd played to 60% of his capabilities, we might still have enough of a cushion (and have sent the bheggars into their own meltdown) to ride this out. Says it all when we've played half our best matches of the season in the 2 games without him this month & when Davo showed in one split second on Saturday exactly what COULD be done with a long ball from the back, just as long as you had your mind on your fcuking job! (oh, and half an ounce of ability!)
  9. Great words, sadly uttered at a time when our rivals were not in a position to undermine our every move, spreading rumour & downright lies across mass media in a way totally unforeseen in his day. I'm of an age & stage where I should be able to demonstrate more 'tolerance & sanity' but the behaviour of the bheasts allied to the massive financial implications of finishing behind them move me further away from it every day.
  10. Small comfort, but I thought Aluko was outstanding up front on Saturday & actually brought the likes of Davis & Edu into the game, so they could do their stuff going forward, instead of having to continually turn back to cover when the ball bounced back off the previous front players. Bit of cover would help, though - we'd be stuffed if anything happened to him!
  11. More up front with this deal maybe? Could mean difference between Ally getting some spending money & not?
  12. Maybe he'll now be able to trap a bag of cement!
  13. Be interested if Broonaldo's shocker gets any air time - as BBC didn't have the guts to make anything of it, I won't hold my breath. If that had happened in EPL with ref turning a blind eye, meeja would've been all over it!
  14. Haha! Be like Robinho when he thought he was going to United & ended up at City!
  15. Aye, the one with the bank preferably!
  16. Looking more & more like it but we need to turn the noise up on this now - 'how' is the question?
  17. 2 footed stamp - NOTHING said during or after - where's the review panel? How do we escalate it so some bastard takes some action? RAGING!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. We appear to get a very short amount of injury time compared to them - rarely more than 3 mins, while EPL regularly get 5/6 even when nothing very serious has happened. Course, bheggars are allowed to play until the equalise or win!
  19. Never saw it myself but I remember hearing about it now you mention it.
  20. Don't get the pace bit - I've never seen him REALLY run away from anybody once he's got past them. Think some of his general play looks a bit better on glimpses we've seen since Xmas - but ONLY when played on the left. I'm trying to hold off pillorying him for performances on the right for now, but it'll be interesting to see what breaks with Mervan's arrival.
  21. Ref has the official & inspected match ball, so he's going to look after it in case he gets a wrong un back. Think in the days the OP remembers, we didn't do the half hour warm up before going inside to smarten up like we do now, but several of the team would carry a ball out and do a bit of shootie in and warming up in the 5 mins before kick off
