  1. They wanted the contract for Ibrox, I'm guessing they are worried now they have absolutely no chance of getting it.
  2. If you have sympathy for Rangers, then why do you not question your own Chairman (if he is indeed the person on the panel) as to why he felt the need to pass down these unprecedented punishments to Rangers? Instead of telling Rangers supporters they should not hold these people to account?
  3. What nasty threat? Naming the individual allows us to question the validity of the decision and reasons behind it, especially given the unprecedented nature of the punishments. And we neither want nor need the sympathy of others. We want respect for our club and fairness in our dealings.
  4. Just off the customer support phone to cancel account. Took 15 mins of waiting to get through and the handler said he's dealt with nothing but Rangers supporters all day.
  5. So this is the man that cleared gay judges with having sex with unders? You couldn't make this up
  6. SDM will only be making sure nothing sticks to him. He might regret what has happened to Rangers, but it has always been about SDM first, Rangers second. I don't expect anything to change.
  7. Craig Whyte is right in one respect, the club was in a mess before he bought it. Murray created the BTC problem Murray created the STC problem Murray created the Lloyds problem The fact that Craig Whyte decided to remove ALL of these problems from MIH suggests to me some level of complicity. I do not believe (and the lack of buyers would suggest some truth) that anyone would have bought Rangers under the conditions of the SPA as signed. We can all see what Murray gained out of the sale, no administration, no tax case liability and Lloyds off his back. What did Craig Whyte gain? A mountain of shit and volumes of bad press and be lucky to stay out of the jail. Sorry, I don't buy it.
  8. It is still far too convenient that Sir David Murray managed to find a patsy Craig Whyte 6 months before the BTC was due to be given. How fortunate for him that someone was willing to take on the club, take on the full liability of the tax problem HE created and remove the club from the security of the MIH group. Oh and Lloyds managed to be paid in full the £18m Rangers owed them OVER THE NEXT 18 years! Lucky Dave.
  9. I'm a life member of the Trust and I believe there are around 400 life members with around 1,200 recurring fully paid up members. The Trust has two problems that I see: 1) Involvement by members is few and far between. There are no regular meetings held that members can attend and the board meetings are obviously for the board only. In it's current form, only those in the board are engaged in the process. 2) It's a paid for subscription and as soon as you ask for money £10 per year or £100 for life, you'll knock out a large percentage of the support. There should be a second category of membership, season book. You provide details of your season book and you get automatic membership for a year. It should provide you with access to a forum as well as all the email alerts a member gets. I would limit board membership or raising of questions at meetings to paid up members to maintain control.
  10. I believe those talking of liquidation having advantages are discussing it on the basis of a CVA Newco route with the old company liquidated. Not the failed administration, appoint liquidator scenario.
  11. There won't be trouble, some tasty songs maybe The A&E departments at night will probably be as full as always.
  12. I've always wanted a British pyramid and a British team, do away with the home nations. Oh how I'd love Rangers to pursue this approach, with the talk of independence, it's pertinent and would be a great GIRFUY to the SFA. Demolish their corrupt FA once and for all.
  13. Not defending him, but isn't the Assembly directly linked to the club, therefore, anything he says can be construed to come from the club and the bastards could attack us more? I also thought the RSA had to be more 'balanced' in its comments because of that link.
  14. The SFA will need to giving us money, the only source I can think of is the Scottish Cup? League money is from the SPL as well as TV? League Cup? Doubt it
  15. At the lowest level we would need no more cash than our season books, and the ability for an owner to sell out when we get to the Championship would be far greater.
  16. I pray we could start out in the lowest English league, even if it was 9 leagues below the premiership and leave this corrupt beast tainted cesspit of a Football Association to devour itself in self loathing.
  17. As Sun Tzu once said "O divine art of subtlety and secrecy! Through you we learn to be invisible, through you inaudible and hence we can hold the enemy's fate in our hands." It would appear the Republicans have been operating this philosophy, be that Scottish Republicanism or others. Our club has loyally stood for 140 years and challengers have crashed against our walls to be beaten back time and time again. In the last 15 years things have slowly started to change, those in the corridors of power do not count us as friend, indeed, everything Rangers hold dear has been in opposition to those leading our game. For a club that has given so much to Scottish football over the years, world records; dignity and class; leadership; modernisation and not forgetting, many Scottish international legends, it is a stark indication of the loathing of others shown by the punishment handed out at the first instance of us being weakened. From member clubs, SPL and now SFA, they have all lined up to take their shots. But how sleekit, how cowardly they act. The seek to hamstring us, strangle us and beat us down, hoping that we'll not be saved, or that our fans will turn our back on the club if it is no longer at it's rightful place at the top. They could not beat us on the field so they turned to propaganda, misinformation and still we stood above it, refused to engage in the petty politics of paranoia. David Murray and Craig Whyte brought the club to its knees and the horde outside our walls are still afraid to scale them but instead look to starve us out, cut off from support. I think they under estimate our support, a sleeping giant that is being roused from its slumber. We will be here, we will not surrender, nor will we lower ourselves to level of others. We are Rangers, we are the people. <end motivational rant>
  18. I pray we could start out in the lowest English league, even if it was 9 leagues below the premiership and leave this corrupt bheast tainted cesspit of a Football association to devour itself in self loathing.
  19. Rule 66: No recognised football body, club, official, Team Official or other member of Team Staff, player, referee, or other person under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA shall bring the game into disrepute. This is the rule breach that the club were found guilty of that has the player signing restriction. What action did Rangers, the club, take that brought the game into disrepute? Administration? But you already punished us for that under Rule 14g with a 50k fine, did Motherwell, Dundee etc suffer this? A joke of a decision. The stink of bheast and bias reeks from Hampden, they want us buried and dead. As Neil Lennon said, "That sums up this country"
  20. He's not had anything to do with Scottish football, until he started mixing with the likes of Phil McGobbler, McGlone, Speirs and Mark Daly. A right good group to get unbiased information from, to start an investigation eh?
  21. To be fair to Bill, he is probably around 5 - 8 hours behind the UK so his day is just starting.
  22. 1. If no bidder or cash injection from the shareholder appears, administration has failed and a liquidator will be appointed. 2. The liquidator will sell the assets off to the highest bidder to raise a pot of money to repay creditors 3. Liquidators have far reaching powers to hold previous directors to account 4. Unlikely to face criminal charges, but potentially civil charges 5. They'll be a creditor and join the queue of other unsecured creditors and get a pence in the pound 6. They'll be getting their lawyers to go over the personal guarantees given by Whyte no doubt 7. SDM will probably face investigation by the liquidator same as all other directors 8. Who knows? Ticketus/ the fans through share issue it seems
