£21m for an EPL team starting GK, rumoured to get an England call up, at his peak and on the back of a player of year performance… not unrealistic but I’ll still be staggered if we get anything near that

It’s honestly grim to think what we need / might need. Feels almost impossible to get enough of them right. If there is some domestic players at low cost then it’s worth looking at, problem is the ones I like Shankland, Miovski, Miller etc are the multi millions players

Glass is very much half empty at the moment but I think Clement needs next season. We need a total clear out, I know it’s not realistic but we need to ship out 10+, which includes the ‘leadership group’. We’ve also missed out on auto champions league money so chances are we will be shopping in the basement again. So over the summer we need to totally change style of play, squad and somehow be ready for euro qualifier. Then domestically we need to hit ground running next year. First game versus them is at their midden, so if we come out of that 5-10 points behind it’s near impossible for Phil.
What a fucking mess. ALL of this was avoidable… if our wanks of a board just backed Gerrard. I will forever die on that hill.
