  1. Our RSC is on the periphery of the North American Rangers Supporters Association (NARSA), albeit in close proximity. As such I have no authority to speak on their behalf, but to anyone from NARSA on this Forum, may I suggest that NARSA also issues a statement (as public as possible) confirming its support for the measures being suggested by the other supporters groups in Scotland and beyond. And getting even further beyond my authority, the RSA's in Australia etc might want to consider doing likewise. These are nothing more than suggestions from an overseas Bear to let those buffoons in Scotland really know that worldwide support for RFC is truly WORLDWIDE.
  2. I like the OP. I would say this sentence a wee bit differently......"any buyer will not be under pressure from the fans to bring in a big name(s)".....that would be an even more positive spin on the words.
  3. So, if he offers them to you for a Scum game you'll refuse..? ;-))))))))))))
  4. Yeah, you're right, but I'm just so fucking mad at all of these bastards and all the dots do join together. If it hadn't been for the EBTs and SDM's fiddling, as a starting point (which Ogilvie knew about), then this whole mess would not have escalated this far. But you're right.
  5. Can anyone tell me why Campbell Ogilvie, now President of the SFA, can punish RFC when part of this whole mess re EBTs etc were executed when HE was Company Secretary of RFC (and as such would have known EVERYthing that went on). Isn't that like doing the crime then declaring yourself guilty years later..?
  6. ....and there's no point in going to Div 3 with the intent of working back up to the SPL, cos it won't fucking exist by then.
  7. "Never confuse motion with progress." Give it time to see if lots of the former actually takes us to some of the latter. Chill.
  8. Some of these numbers are too high(e.g. 50,000 at 20 quid a month), but the concept of a "members monthly contribution" is reasonable. However wrapping this into a share issue scheme seems unrealistic to me. Whatever TBK and others put in by way of share capital, I can't see them wanting to be diluted month by month, and I doubt we'd ever get to fan ownership in the true sense of the phrase. If we are always in the minority then we'd be like having had shares in RBS yet having no means to have told Fred Goodwin to bugger off. So, I don't see it - at the moment - as being workable. However I do see a members monthly contribution scheme working, if it was to be segregated for specific costs e.g. buying players, stadium improvements etc where the value WE add, is NOT added into overall shareholder value in the event of a future sell-on. I stand to be corrected on the share scheme though.
  9. If a share issue is TBK's Plan A, I hope they have a Plan B, C, D.....
  10. Like most of us, I'm happy to hear this. The devil may be in the details of course, and I've been sceptical of TBK all along - mainly due to the low bid number (given the number of alleged millionaires in their posse), and the basis of their bid being a share issue (which I'm confused about how it would work).....but .....if this IS the way we can move on, then they will have my full support.
  11. Then make a decision to close it down then. Simples.
  12. 50+ years and counting.......not going to stop under ANY circumstances. Apart from the blood, the style of life, the Proddie work ethic, the memories, the history, the scarves, ties, tops, banners, RSC flag........I'd have to redecorate my house !! And if Coisty can't put 11 on the field, I'll come do that as well. RTID
  13. Ah, now I get it..............we are more interested in "winding THEM up", than discussing, genuinely discussing, us being wound up. I've missed the point completely. Apologies to those reading this, Tims and others. Sad stuff.
  14. Fair enough. And I fully agree with you.I believe the OP agrees with you as well, but I'll let him speak for himself. For my money, I have followed this Club for over 50 years and was there on that fateful day in 1971 (lost a friend !!), so this Club is in my blood and regardless of what it looks like in the future, it's a future I'll always be part of. I once told Martin Bain (!!!)..."Mate, I was at Ibrox long before you came on the scene, and I'll be here long after you've gone." My point is that if one of us says something that someone else doesn't like then calling him a Tim is poor behaviour - but each to his own. I was asked to read through the Unite website material. It is a noble effort and I warmly applaud those who are involved. But, if we can't allow other people to say what they feel, within reason (and we're all hurting), then, we will never come together in a share offering etc.
  15. Slagging each other off because they happen to have an opinion different from you, calling them "surrender monkey", telling Admin to get this thread out of here, calling the guy a Timnmy, etc, etc.......gives me NO comfort that we can "Unite"....!!
  16. I have no argument against your comments...maybe a wee bit of passion could have been added though ;-)) Just kidding mate,we all feel the same way - no consolation, but it's a big boat and we're all rowing like f**k.
  17. I really have never liked the TBK bid....because the money they are talking about is way too low, and their "deal" with Ticketus has always seemed bizarre. Having said that (and I don't know PM)I would say that he does understand the RFC Story, so he "gets it". Can he deliver though is the issue. Ng has merely being trying to but another toy for his collection - just an ego trip. Miller - I honestly don't know. I can't fathom him out. So, maybe I have to come round to TBK "and consortium"....just wish they would say something like,"Look, we DO have the bigger cash. We clearly do want to know where the BTC is. We take D&P at their word, and our own investigation, suggests that the CW issue can be resolved (and quickly). We know that a CVA will work, and that while Ticketus can come against RFC, their real attack is against CW on his personal guarantees. And lastly, if the proposed share fan issue is part of our deal, we can confirm that our underwriting thereof is covered, should the issue not be taken up fully, or at all" Simples really ;-)))
  18. ..and if I HAD taken a second I would have said Davis instead of David. Duh !!
  19. Richie Shearer Caldow David McKinnon Baxter Henderson McMillan Millar Brand and Wilson to name but a few !!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah, those were the days. After all these years, funny how I can still rattle off that team without taking a breath, or a second, to think about it. Baxter wins !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for those of you who never saw him, you'll never know the feeling inside Ibrox when he would get the ball. The hush, the expectation, the excitement. Poetry in motion. See, it's good to be old ;-))
  20. I have no idea. What I do know is that they are either living in an underground bunker, away from the rest of the world and have no idea what stress the lack of decision is causing on thousands of people - Bears AND those whose living depends on RFC etc........or he is deliberatly frustrating the process. In any even someone needs to wake him up.
  21. I've said this time and time again on here and elsewhere until I am blue in the face (not a bad complexion come to think of it)..........where the f**k is the HMRC decision....? Are they just sitting behind the scenes saying, "We see the anger and frustration, but we can't be bothered to speed this up" Is it possible that some fuckwit could decided "liquidate" then these decision-makers say "Eh, well we find in favour of RFC"....or is it all cut and dred, and no-one has the balls to tell us...?
