  1. Mind you, the head of the UN has blamed Israel for the "vacuum" that created the massacre by Hamas, so you think UEFA are going to jump in and sanction the terrorist-worshippers?
  2. Fucking "Plastic Paddies" From now on they should be called the "Plasticine Paddies"
  3. Genuinely saddened to hear this. Forum mods are often taken for granted. Forgetting that they have their problems just as everyone else does. And that behind the poster is a supporter who is a small part of something massively bigger.
  4. They do say there's a sucker born every minute.
  5. The Rangers Mole is finally outed.
  6. You have got to be joking with these cunts.
  7. I have never seen a manager so quickly written off after we had signed him.
  8. ....and there's the difference between us and them. We accept shite. They mobilise and challenge it. And it will not be long before they are telling us..."We welcome the chase"!
  9. Just out of interest, what did you feel about the challenge on Cantwell in their box?
  10. A militant club acting it and we are all seeing the results. The same cunts who believe a financial misdemeanour is a hanging offense whereas real sex crimes against minors is skillfully deflected. Dangerous bastards.
  11. Just watched the incident again on the "highlights" and it looks even more fucked up than before. Seriously that VAR and ref must be fucking embarrassed. They should both quit the game. Simple as that. In a proper professional league setup they would. Yet they will be seen again this next round of matches no doubt. I actually watched the "highlights" from the Cuntic TV feed, and at no point did they call for a foul for that challenge, merely slagging the defender for his fuck-up. That whole mob must have been laughing their bollocks off after how it ended.
  12. Because had that decision gone the other way then it would be the Cunts arguing like fuck all over their forums and not us. Those small things make all the difference at the end of the season. Think they'd have accepted that if it had been the other way at their ground? Both managers were under massive pressure going into this game, and ours comes out looking like a cunt, even though his players hade already put the ball in the net twice. Then Kyogo, who had about 5 touches all match does his spectacular and suddenly we're utter shite!!?? We may have been poor, but seeing that challenge again and the uproar...matches are often decided by one goal. And our goal was was even celebrated twice by the fans until it was knocked off. That is some blow to recover from. especially after Wednesday's crusher.
  13. All I can add is this. If that is a foul and the challenge on Cantwell in the box is not, then fuck me.
  14. Yes, I'm also definitely dreading playing a team who dropped points at home and got fucked out of the league Cup at the first opportunity, managed by a manager their fans wanted killed by the ira when he left.
  15. This time last year we were desperate to get into the Champions league. When we did, it was an absolute soul crushing nightmare, so failing this time feels like the consolation prize of Europa League competition does not seem bad at all. If all we can do is bank Champions League money then waste all that money by letting top players leave on free transfers, it seems hardly worth the hassle. Bring on the draw.
  16. Just when you thought that the Offside rules couldn't get any more complicated and convoluted, another change comes along. Deliberate or Non Deliberate Play when Offside https://www.theifab.com/news/law-11-offside-deliberate-play-guidelines-clarified/ Following a number of high-profile situations and based on the expectation that a player who is clearly in an offside position should not become ‘onside’ on all occasions when an opponent moves and touches the ball, The IFAB and FIFA, after discussions with football stakeholders, have clarified the guidelines for distinguishing between ‘deliberate play’ and ‘deflection’. The relevant part of Law 11 states as follows (emphasis added): 2. Offside offence A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by: (...) gaining an advantage by playing the ball or interfering with an opponent when it has: rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar, match official or an opponent (...) A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent. No change to Law 11 is necessary but, to reflect football’s expectation, the guidelines for distinguishing between ‘deliberate play’ and ‘deflection’ are clarified as follows: ‘Deliberate play’ is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of: passing the ball to a team-mate; or gaining possession of the ball; or clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it). If the pass, attempt to gain possession or clearance by the player in control of the ball is inaccurate or unsuccessful, this does not negate the fact that the player ‘deliberately played’ the ball. The following criteria should be used, as appropriate, as indicators that a player was in control of the ball and, as a result, ‘deliberately played’ the ball: The ball travelled from distance and the player had a clear view of it The ball was not moving quickly The direction of the ball was not unexpected The player had time to coordinate their body movement, i.e. it was not a case of instinctive stretching or jumping, or a movement that achieved limited contact/control A ball moving on the ground is easier to play than a ball in the air Video clips illustrating the clarification of the ‘deliberate play’ guidelines, which does not constitute a Law change, can be found below. It requires a load of video examples to make it clear, but I am sure that Refs, Linesmen and VAR officials just had an extra layer of complication added to their jobs. Good luck with that.
