1959 when I was 6. I think it was against Hibs. and we won . My Dad and my Uncles all went together and stood in the Enclosure near to the Rangers End. My first hero was Davie Wilson followed closely by Eric Caldow. Really happy memories of us all together getting the Subway to Copland Road and walking to the Stadium. I'm sure many others on this forum have similar cherished memories of their families and how important it was ,and still is, to be a Bluenose. These are the memories that the Rangers Haters out there wanted to take away from us. To see us destroyed. Thank God we all stood together last year and saved our beloved Club from these bigots. The OP simply asked if we think God is involved in our plight. Some of us happen to believe he is and, ultimately is involved in all things. Some on here don't believe this to be the case, and ,BTW ,thats ok in my book. I would never claim to be Christian , because I dont posess the attributes required to be a real Christian. But I do have a faith in God,in whatever form he exists and that works fine for me. But this has to said - It is a disgrace that some on this forum seek to belittle those who have their faith as an anchor and a maxim by which they live their lives. If you believe in nothing ,thats fine, it's your choice - but dont ridicule those who believe in something. Remember , the ones you are slagging off are the same people who stand with you at every Rangers match, protest march , and street protest. They are people who love Rangers every bit as much as you.

He is a bitter one. Ive never heard him saying a decent word about Rangers. Mind you as someone mentioned earlier - dont listen to the programme, you will never hear anything pro- Rangers on it.

Is that really the way you see it? Tell me you didnt mean that. I'm talking about bona fide Rangers Supporters who just happen to be in a bad way , maybe through ill heath , unemployment or any number of things that are outwith their control. Its called being charitable. Personally I have never judged the people with whom I have supported the Rangers among for the past 50 years as anything other than Bluenoses just like me. Their circumstances are whatever they happen to be and for that 90 minutes they are all my mates.

The point I was trying to make is that if the seats are left unsold , lets say 48 hours before the match then there could be invites sent to people who have been proposed by reputable charities , care groups , or maybe supporters clubs and then the seats then dont go unused. It's a good thing for the club to do for folk who are less fortunate than most of us on this forum,and i cant imagine even the most rabid Rangers haters having any complaints about such a thing. I cant think of any other football club who does this kind of thing and for Rangers to be the first would be a huge PR and moral triumph, as well as a get- it -right- up -you to all those who dislike us.

I still believe that this is a great opportunity for Rangers to show how much they value all the fans , I think it would be excellent PR

I 've noticed from where we sit (GF1) that the extreme ends of the Enclosure never seem to be filled ,possibly due to the view being a bit restricted, and I was wondering if the Club would maybe consider offering seats in these areas to Bears who are maybe long term unemployed ,sick ,handicapped or just generally going through a bad time , and who find it hard to make it to the games. I would hope the seats would be offered free of charge by Rangers. It would be a smashing gesture by the Club and it could be done on a match by match basis,with possibly supporters groups suggesting people who deserve a wee break in their lives and who would hopefully see 90 minutes of decent football watching the Rangers(although that can't be guaranteed) Doing this would show the Club in a really good light , by helping out our Rangers Brothers and Sisters who are less fortunate than most of us. As i said its just an idea. God bless the Rangers

Stick to your guns mate. We sit in GF1 about halfway up and what the guy said is spot on- he was doing nothing wrong except standing and the G4S Stewards were acting like Fascists. Trust me on this one , we saw this happening and , by the way,the G4S Stewards are doing this crap at every home game in our Section. The police are backing them up even to the extent of taking videos of the fans. This is a gross violation of peoples liberties and the sooner Mr Green gets this sorted out the better. I have never , in all the years we have been sitting in GF1, seen anyone behaving in a violent or disorderly manner . FFS we are only wanting to watch the Rangers and as paying customers we deserve better treatment.

By Rangers being linked to the scum , we dilute our own name. We are distinct and famous in our own right, with our own support world wide and as such we do not need to involved with these corrupted bigots across the city. They are a nasty smelly growth which has attached itself to us through this idea of shared sponsorship. It honours them because they like to think it makes them appear as our equals when in fact nothing is further from the truth. We as a club have been guilty of allowing this to continue because our previous owners were either too inept or too lazy to seek better sponsors for Rangers as a stand-alone entity with a World Record History , and with the advantage of NOT being associated with the abuse of children. Our dignity is the diametric opposite to their everlasting shame. We are now ,and always have been, better than them , both in our morality and our football history and we must cut them off from our future. The differences between us and them are as simple as Right versus wrong , Clean versus dirty , Moral versus immoral. We must ,as a club and as a support, push these differences constantly into the wider public domain, exposing the scum for what they are - mhanky ,dirty ,abusing trash who have escaped natural justice for too long. My beloved Rangers should seperate itself immediately from shelflik (Penn State- Glasgow) to avoid being soiled by association. God bless the Rangers 1872-Forever

Craig Whyte should be sitting in a jail cell awaiting trial for fraud. I had hoped we would have heard something by now about him being charged , but nothing yet. Does anyone know anything about what haqppened to the Police Investigation that was supposed to be going on? I hope the cunt gets 10 years .
