The way the country is going nacho... it's quite a believable thing that sectarian chanters WILL be banned if not jailed... these catholics are well in powers here in our wee country and even though as a population they muster only 16% of said population.... they have a hell of a LOT in positions of power ... so I for one would NOT rule this out.
What's really NEEDED is for ALL real protestants to stand-up and be counted....do not let the catholic sway the powers that be so to speak.
Anti-catholicism is still a just fight given that their rulings come from another country.
In a court of law anti catholicism would still stand-up given that their leader is viewed as the anti-christ

So I am guessing you iGNORE the notices on the walls at Ibrox and the announcements on the PA at every game saying that sectarian chanting is unacceptable. You IGNORE that Rangers Football Club, the club you claim to support are against bigotry and sectarianism?

I believe handwringers are those who do not want sectarian and illegal chanting at Ibrox because we LOVE our club and don't want it to be sanctioned because of an obstinate minority who think they are above the law.

I remember a night game way back in the 80's whereby a 'taig'/s' threw a golf ball or two at the cops ... if memory serves a female cop was injured that night (her head) from their ghirly jhungle area ... NOT ONE COP VENTURED IN..... and there were many, many cops at that game.... it was a mid-week against 'them'.

We are in the 3rd division why can't we just enjoy the games.

I dont find these songs offensive in the slightest, I've sung them and I've played them when parading. But they simply cant be sung at football grounds anymore. Sing in the buses and the pubs all you want but why sing them at Ibrox when you know it only causes trouble for the club?

We should take this opportunity to be a fun family club, universally accepted world wide.
These songs do absolutely nothing for that. What makes it worse is that the people who sing them are perfectly aware of that. They are aware of the damage they are doing to our reputation... but they couldn't care less.
