D'Art, all for one and one for all! Ofcom will become involved when the complaint is not resolved and has gone through due process. There are many complaints against BBC Scotland that have not been satisfactorily resolved. Ofcom will ultimately determine the validity of all unresolved complaints against BBC Scotland. My understanding is that the Press Complaints Commission are also investigating the conduct of the Scottish media. Allegations can be made, but when 'facts' are published or broadcasted, which are proven false, Ofcom and the PCC will instruct the appropriate media outlets to either correct the material or issue an apology. This process may take a while, but I can assure all concerned, due process will result in retractions and / or apologies by all organisations that inaccurately or maliciously distorted factual information. I have factual evidence, in my possession that at least one media outlet, deliberately distorted factual information. This evidence will be published when Ofcom and the PCC uphold the complaint(s).
