I wouldn't mind Ranger's Men.. just think that if you want to play the "Ranger's Man" card and say that you are investing for "the love of the club", your actions need to match it by not taking any money (Salary, expenses, interest on loans, ..) from the club until the club is self sufficient.

I just wouldn't expect Rangers Men to take a salary given our fragile condition...especially rich ones.

I think that is the way Jihadi swings so it would not surprise me.

Because these guys are rich and taking a salary from the club doesn't seem to be something that a Rangers Man would want to do when his club is struggling financially. Are they investing for love of the club? For a salary? Or a return on investment?

Have you received assurances from the "Three Bears" that they will not take a salary (or any other compensation) while serving the club? How about their appointees? If so, can you please provide a copy of that documentation? Also, in the event that they loan the club money, have they (Letham) changed their stance on charging the club interest? Thanks in advance...

That is what I thought as well. They are united already. What has that brought us other than a continued division in the fan base with "leaders" of these groups jockeying for media attention and these groups attempting to profit off the division with merchandising lines? We have hypocritical public statements condemning the Board, we have outright lies (see the recent UOF statement on Ashley) about shareholders to the media, and we have groups engaged in a hostile takeover instead of talking about the team or our true enemies. I think until there is new leadership and a new dialogue, the fan base will continue to be divided by these folks and we will continue to stay stagnant.

A lot of flowery words and big words...not to mention references to quotes by others. Nice article but where are the solutions to unite the fanbase outside of "uniting"?

I haven't seen Smith play well as a midfielder so I know that it isn't directed at me. Smith has a horrible first touch. I would much rather have Wallace playing left midfield with Smith playing back than Smith at mid and Wallace at back.

He played Stevie Smith at left outside mid. That is reason enough to fire McDowall for stupidity.

Ally does not get a free pass on the development (or lack of) of the first team....he can get free shares (1 penny) but not a free pass on the imbalance in the team and the lack of development of any youth players (except Lewis and Aird) from our famed world class training facilities. What are we going to do? We will probably not move to the SPL next season and players (that Ally) signed will either be moved (although outside of two, who wants any of our players) or we will let their contracts expire in the summer. We will reload in the summer wtih younger players and attempt to gain promotion next season under a manager with the ability to train, development and to adapt tactically each game.

Ally is to blame for the sorry state of the team. He had 2.5 years to develop a team and he failed to develop youth players and instead, signed a mix-and-match group of older players at higher wages. The team has no strengths and he left McDowell a load of shite in terms of a roster. Ally should be ashamed to still take a check for the job that he did as the Manager on the field. Instead, he is taking his salary (highest in Scotland) and his Penny-shares and laughing all the way to the bank. If he spent 50% of the time developing players than he did playing politics, this team would be where it should be...at the Top of the 2nd Division in Scotland.

And Ally wants his 750K paycheck to go along with his penny shares. Ally's contract is the worst onerous contract of them all.

Yep..he went after David Goodwillie and put him in his place. I will disagree with Kirk...Wallace has not looked good all year and his lack of pace and positioning has been atrocious. Sell him.

The back 4 looks like shit. Sell Wallace...he brings nothing defensively..he is too slow and is out of position.

It would only take a little ambition and money to get to that level again.
