I cannot believe the amount of abuse our manager has taken on this forum over the past few days.He is simply doing his job by highlighting the ridiculous fixture schedule of 4 games in 11 days for our players who are taking a right kicking physically,and us bears taking financal kicking as well.I`d love to know who the Ally out lynch mob think could come in and do a better job.How many CEO`s has he had to deal with?What help has he had from any of the governing bodies?What cost cutting measures will he have to implement and still be expected to trash every team we play? Watched Inverness v Sheep on tele last night,and while neither team looked good defensively,they scored seven goals between them,involving some decent attacking play.Now with all this talk about cutting our overheads,shipping players out etc.,I am concerned.In my humble opinion,we are not strong enough defensively to consistently defeat the top 5 in the Premier league,and investment will have to be found to strengthen in all areas of the team,especially defence.I`m talking about next season and the season after. This is where our board have to prove themselves.Dave King is willing to invest,and I`m sure there are others.We are Rangers,all this talk of downsizing gives me the boak.Get rid of dead wood by all means,but ship in some quality.Discuss please.
