Can't be worse than the waste of time in the first half. Even proper pace, the same kind that make our defenders look like idiots time and time again. -

Hand In Heart, Did You Ever Fancy Us For Promotion?
Hilly86 replied to G.E.C.'s topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Before the season, yes, if only because of it being second tier of Scottish football and reasoning that a trained monkey should be able to assemble full-time, highly-paid footballers, into a vaguely competent team. Obviously it's got progressively worse since such days of optimistic folly - as others have said, hoping this rabble could organise themselves for six games was the biggest of asks. -
What's the usual ban for a violent conduct red card? Any chance we can appeal if it's too lenient? It'll be interesting to hear the justifications for him walking straight back into the team when he's eligible again.

Rangers win SFA Youth Cup Semi-Final.
Hilly86 replied to RangersFanBase's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Probably wouldn't be very fair or sensible to ask many of them to turn out so soon after a competitive extra-time cup game. -
I thought Law was terrible, almost cowardly. My dad sitting next to me thought he was one of the "least shite" ones As stated above, Peralta not being completely inept for once was, for me, rendered pointless after seeing him shite it from that tackle.

We Should Look Long & Hard At The U20 Team
Hilly86 replied to BlueSuedeSambas's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
It's a quaint thought, but the all-important, extremely valuable quest for 100+ points must be nurtured with proven, experienced players. Telfer, Stoney, etc. just won't have the big game reliability of the likes of Dean Shiels and Ian Black. -
Foster: 1 - It's all been said before, I almost feel sorry for him. He must know it himself too. Wallace: 3 - Only the second time that I've thought he was properly awful and not as a result of being dragged down to the level of shite happening around him. McCulloch: 2 - Only Hutton and Wallace looked slower, control awful, no apparent captain qualities. A tactical player/coach role for next season, despite not being a coach, obviously. Mohsni: 3 - Typical, find a place in the team for a guy with proper pace and he's the one most susceptible to brain farts. Marks for being sufficiently mental as to want to keep the ball on the deck, to a fault. Black: 1 - The one I blame for making us playing even slower than our limited talent allows. He's just terrible; gets a mark for managing to stay on the park for the whole game, despite the usual provocation Hutton: 2 - He'd be better without Black next to him, but it says more about the club that we turn to a player who knows he's not wanted. Smith: 3 - Meh Law: 3 - Seems not to know what he's supposed to be doing. He's quick going back the way, but always seems miles away from Daly Aird: 3 - Pains to me say that I just don't think he's going to make it. At least not with us, currently. Does he really have pace? Can he really cross the ball? I realise his specialised role of cutting in from the left to shoot over the bar is not his fault entirely, but an extended run in the team should be showing improvement beyond this. Daly: 1 - Just a waste of a place and not his own doing. We must be the only long-ball team who make the big-guy-up-front role look completely ridiculous. What he is supposed to do with rugby-style punts that go up more than they go long? A symptom more than a cause.

For about three years now! Since Puyol went lame they've stubbornly refused to do anything about it; catching up with them when Messi doesn't play every single minute any more.

Players must have a sweep going on him and Pepe.

Easiest money you've ever earned Sir!

It was alright, nothing on Brechin this afternoon though Sweet result, even sweeter for watching Sergio Ramos walk yet again.

Lovely Stuff! Been a joy to watch such control pace and flair, especially Shiels. If you think any differently, take it to somewhere other than a public forum, splitters!- 791 replies

Everything says he's the first name in Ally's preferred team; if he was going to be rested it surely would have been in the less important game?

Completely agree. It surely has to be instruction that has him repeatedly cut inside with the grand reward of hee-haw. Bizarre when you consider the packed defences he's always up against, the pace he has and the target man in the middle who has been known to score from a header or two.

This. It's not some grand conspiracy that our 'new' players are now shit after years of excellence at top clubs. It's still a worry that they don't seem to know the basics of what they're supposed to be doing of late.
-
Executed expertly by each and every player too. They should get bonuses - it's hard to look so chronically bad on purpose.

Quadruple charge, even one of our own special loans, just for the indignity of letting inferior left backs use Lee's facilities.
