We've really lacked composure, our pressing at the front has been woeful and they've been lucky.

It's a joke and really frustrating but I'm going to be glass half full and say: who does playing on a cow field help? No more injuries, some players (starters) will return and we still have a game in hand. Playing 4 games in a row in sodden pitches is not ideal, that's for sure.

I reckon these pitch inspection updates are more exciting than the match would be and infinitely more riveting than the Sportscene highlights programme later on.

Agreed. I'm gutted but we have just ground to a halt. There's a lot to be proud of and if I had to choose which tournament to lose, it would have to have been this one. This year anyway.

I know the story will be all about the vision and execution of Cantwell's pass - and it was sublime - Desser's positioning and movement was excellent. In fact it was great all game.
