I don't think the team had that sort of fight left in them after the 9 man UFA stand off. As athletes they needed time to recover properly and we don't have a pool of players to choose from just yet to give them that respite. I think SG factored this fatigue, dehydration, muscle pain etc in the way he set up the team so as to avoid injuries. I think our team gave us a last push with everything they had left in the tank and they would have succeeded in getting a draw if it hadn't been for the ref.
On the flip side of the coin they had their 11 best out and they couldn't score from the advantage of a fatigued Rangers team, the ref had to gift them a goal.

I tell you,  for still being start of season,  they're starting to improve a little bit more each game.  Still areas needing to work on,  but we are achieving so much more this season already.

Biggest concern was how badly we seemed to deal with set pieces and crosses into the box in that first half.

Well done the big man. He's doing a great job and getting on with things. I dont care what his background is, all that counts is he does us a turn and he is doing that and long may it continue.

I would nominate me if that is allowed because I can take care of the legal stuff and also maybe there needs to be at least 1 woman on the group.
I already have access to the requisite legislation and can find the case law we need in order to look at what is and is not acceptable, not to mention I can keep my cool in high pressure situation (You have to when 15 strangers watch your every move in a Jury Trial.) What we need to do here as the threads have said is bombproof the lyrics so they are beyond legal challenge, while retaining the effect we desire, the roar. We are also well aware that it is not the words Fenian (and Orange) that are sectarian in themselves and therefore illegal but the context in which they are placed. To that we have to look at Section 38 of the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010 in order to make sure the lyrics would pass that challenge too cause you KNOW that some bastards will try it.
We have managed it will Follow Follow and I see no reason why we can't manage it with the Billy Boys either.
I look forward to being involved in any way in this endeavour, if I am allowed to be a part of it.

    Spot on mate .

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/36th_(Ulster)_Division
My Great uncle and Great Grandfather were in the UVF and 36th Ulster Division during WW1. My great uncle died in a German POW camp and my great Grandfather died of his wounds he received July 1916. The charge of the 36th Ulster division at the Somme is legendary, they won 4 Victoria crosses.
"I am not an Ulsterman but yesterday, the 1st. July, as I followed their amazing attack, I felt that I would rather be an Ulsterman than anything else in the world."[5] The final sentences of Captain Wilfred Spender's account furthered his viewpoint
“The Ulster Division has lost more than half the men who attacked and, in doing so, has sacrificed itself for the Empire which has treated them none too well. The much derided Ulster Volunteer Force has won a name which equals any in history. Their devotion, which no doubt has helped the advance elsewhere, deserved the gratitude of the British Empire. It is due to the memory of these brave fellows that their beloved Province shall be fairly treated.
I’m proud of those men as I am of all our troops wherever they come from in the UK and the sacrifice they make to keep us free. At least anytime they are sung about its about heroes not some IRA cowardly terrorist scum or ones covering themselves in shit and staving themselves.

You could just simply kick your own brain into gear and try thinking what it is that the guy is meaning.... I'm sure he's probably on about the loyalist crap that is belted out mostly at the away games.... and at football matches in the third division all it does is make the fans ALL sound like dafties these days.
The decent chanting about Rangers.... the club all sound brilliant but watching the tv camera scan round the fans yesterday and seeing many fans in with their wee kids it all sounded crap when hearing them chant the loyalist tunes, no need for em tbh and worst of ALL.... 'the bears wre having a party, the tims were sh@gging weans..... get a bloody grip cos all that crap ditty does is trivialize pedophilia that went on at the piggary.
Time for all the decent Rangers party tunes... not the mingers.

I have never posted before, but felt i had to after the first couple of away games this season.
I cant get my head round why some fans are still singing about the UVF at Gers games. Dont get me wrong, most fans, including myself have sung these types of songs in the past but there is no place for them anymore.
This is the start of a new adventure for all Gers fans and we should take this opportunity to rid ourselves of certain songs that do us no favours and have nothing to do with Rangers in the 21st Century.
Quite simply, dont complain about what the media and certain journalists write about Rangers fans when some fans refuse to let go the stuff that is now simply irrelevant and you know they will pick up on.
We should be reading about the amazing suppport given to a team in the fourth tier of scottish football and fans who do themselves proud in the way they support their team and not about a small group who refuse to let go of the past.
