Of course it is daft. But your priority is a bundle of stuff that is very rarely seen! Lots of teams can do one or the other, rarely both.
Which is why getting us through the leagues for me is the major factor. Every day spent in these leagues is a day too long. Once we return to the top and we start to get our status back then we must bring about some serious changes, management, scouting, youth and philosophy - until then our resources are so sparse we can only concentrate on winning the league, as sore on the eyes it may be.

How do you know fans are voting with their feet? is Sunday not reported as a near sell out? have we not sold 22k ST's and more imo will pay per game.
We do not belong in this league, we should never have been here in the arse end of Scottish football. We need to get out of it as soon as fucking possible every minute in it is a minute too long every minute in it gives me the dry boak - any risk to not winning the league is a risk not worth taking.
The best of youth - we don't have that luxury, we are playing our best right now! alongside our seasoned pro's.

My point I think is very clear - win the league without the risk of "youth", "a new manager (potentially fucking things up)" or even "entertainment" then we have a completely different set of circumstances on which to put this team back fighting for everything - I severely doubt Ally is capable of doing that in the long run, but for now he can.

Sure, but in my opinion, Ally had 1 goal and 1 goal only since the drop! Get us back in the top league!.... 58 League wins, 11 draws and 3 losses since then.

Did you want tap dancing and jokes on top of winning? Buying SPL level journeymen (all we could get) would get us out of the divisions but do you really expect Barcelona style football. Our players are crap (by Rangers standards) but that's what we've been reduced to recently. They're only better crap in relation to those we've been against in the last two years and I hope to fuck when we're settled we don't see too many of them lingering on.

To be a Rangers fan is to be the witness to a whinge-fest, these days. Regardless of what happens.

The 'promising youth' will make it into the first team if they are good enough, e.g. Aird, McLeod, Gallagher etc. We're not going to win the Championship with a team of teenagers - we need, and have, youth and experience. We are Rangers, not Dundee Utd. We'll soon be sitting in our rightful place above them in the SPL.

Every player wants to play and not sit on the bench, they will learn by training with these guys everyday - understand the wee things that make you a good player - watching them from the bench must be a motivator - if they are interested in being a footballer in Scotland then there is no better a role model than Miller imo, and Boyd (if he signs) will teach them lessons on how to read a game to get on the end of one.
