  1. You said it, he certainly does. Legend or not, it's despicable behaviour from anyone associated with our club.
  2. It's ok, you still get to be called a legend even if your 'greatest moment in football' was with another club, and if you regularly take money from our enemies.
  3. The legends who get fairly criticised are the ones who choose to take money from our enemies.
  4. That'll be the ex-Rangers player who takes a regular income from a Celtic funded comic.
  5. Translation: 'please, please, please geeza job at Ibrox'. Assume that this masterpiece has appeared in Ferguson's publication of choice - the Celtic funded rag?
  6. Yes, but King has no access to serious money and non-one will invest in the club while he is around. We are stuck with this, or something similar I am afraid ...
  7. A sharp, analytical brain at work here. He is assessing the squad, but he has already assessed the quality of the Scottish sports 'journalists' and you can tell already what he thinks of them ...
  8. Get rid. ASAP. He reached the peak of his 'leaning curve' a long time ago and he's not going to get any better.
  9. Farry and co were incompetent. The current lot are incompetent and corrupt.
  10. Yes, we always have to remember that the masterbrains who run Scottish football have consistently screwed up for decades.
  11. Fair enough, but 'well short of capacity' for those English clubs still represented huge numbers compared with the two men and a dog who watch the Scottish clubs. I lived in Leicester in the 1980s and went a lot to the old Filbert Street. When they weren't playing the big teams their crowds were on the low side, but even that was five or six times as much as the Motherwells, Kilmarnocks, etc get today.
  12. Yes, and the stands would be even emptier if there was more TV coverage ... Scottish football has lived off the Old Firm for decades, and chose to inflict a serious wound on itself in 2012 by 'punishing' the goose that laid the golden egg. Of course that was meant to open up a whole new era of 'strong competition' and 'growth' of the non-Old Firm clubs. How is that scenario coming along lads?
  13. 1. Richard Keys has an agenda of his own, and is a dubious character to say the least. 2. The 'product' (Scottish football) is crap, so no broadcaster is going to pay over the odds for it.
  14. Wrong photo - meant the one where Laudrup is playing keepy-up.
  15. The state of that Celtic strip .... They've had one howler after another over the years.
  16. Liked when the goalkeepers wore the same socks and shorts as the rest of the team, with the yellow tops. More of a 'team' look. Showing my age ...
  17. I'm seeing the delay as a good thing as it might mean that Ferguson isn't getting the job ...
  18. Correction - it was the 'Follow Follow' record featuring the Blue Boys of Ibrox. Wonder what happened to them?
  19. Oh, that 'Glory, Glory' record! I played it until the vinyl wore thin. Some of the songs still run through my head - 'Down the track, the train came a'runnin, Rangers three, Celtic nothing, oh oh oh, oh yes, that's right. We've got the men they are steady, the Rangers motto is Aye Ready ...'
  20. Agree. Not much culture about either Brown or Ferguson!
  21. I honestly don't think he is very bright. Anyone who gets into the scrapes he has in the course of a 'business career' doesn't do the joined-up thinking very well.
