  1. King's reputation and the way he conducts himself are major problems for the club. We will go nowhere while he is in charge.
  2. I'm wondering if this group of players are even capable of raising their game for a new manager.
  3. The only hope for the future of the club as a serious contender for the top honours would be if King and co are bought out by one or more people with substantial funding at their disposal. I don't see that happening, so we are stuck with King's spin and limited budgets, living from hand to mouth. No one will invest in the club while King is running the show.
  4. McKay never goes anywhere either, except for the one game every four months when he is transformed into the £6m man some people on here were raving about in January.
  5. Looking on the bright side - if we keep losing we'll drop out of the top six and won't have to play the last game against Celtic ...
  6. Nail on the head. We are going nowhere while this guy is associated with the club. Problem is - there seems to be no one else out there willing to buy him out.
  7. Does Jol have experience as a DoF? I think of him as a manager/coach.
  8. It will have to be a buy-out, I think as there's obviously no one out there who is prepared to invest in the club while King is in charge (understandably so, given his reputation). Problem is, as you say, getting someone else to take over is far from easy. That's why we ended up with King and co in the first place ...
  9. King will just be trying to spin this out in order to secure season ticket renewals. Like you, I can't see the appointment being up to the calibre we need. There's no money for that. King promised to bring in additional investment and he has failed to do that.
  10. You are right. It's very clear that Mr King is not able to attract the required additional investment, despite all his bluster. He tried, he failed. He now needs to move on.
  11. Mr King obviously struggles to get to games in Glasgow, let alone coming here to conduct interviews.
  12. Why? Are they under curfew and have to stay in Scotland? I hope you are right though.
  13. The comics don't do 'reporting'. They just make up stories.
  14. Tony Mowbray's just been appointed at Blackburn, so I guess the Board can cross him off their list ... But Owen Coyle is available.
  15. Cant't possibly be true, because that other organ of truth, 'The Record' is claiming that a new boss will be in change by then. Two comic rags making stuff up as usual.
  16. Agree with this. It all comes down to money in the end. The only reason we have King and the cowboys is because there was no-one out there willing and able to back the club with the type of money we needed to get back to the top in quick time. Instead, we have King's relatively small (for a club of our size) injections of cash to just about keep the show on the road, but nothing more than that. He spins it for all he is worth, but he'll never be able to attract the level of investment needed. He's not even the shit-hot businessman we are led to believe - I would not be surprised if we end up having to pay up following a 'wrongful dismisssal' case. Having said that, though, we should still be doing better than his, given the players' wage bill.
  17. Hope no-one starts talking up McInnes again on the basis of this. Killie handed the game to them - sheer incompetence.
  18. That Killie defending was worse than ours.
  19. Walker: 'Very excitable, Andrew Dallas.' !!
  20. That's true, but he is capable of giving a shocking decision either way. He had a nightmare game at Ibrox the other week. He's just another really poor referee.
