  1. Who the fuck said that? That's absolutely mindblowing - half the team are RCs!
  2. I know what you mean. Especially bad at away games in my experience, where the "real" supporters are to be found..... I stood up to a dick giving it some sectarian shit at the Liverpool/Rangers Legends game. He stood down when I got a bit snarly, but I was probably lucky because his mates realised he was out of order and apologised for him being an asshole. Obviously had previous.
  3. Correct. One area. We watched the game in an Aussie bar a bit away from Piccadilly square after being there all day, and there was not one bit of trouble. Some power of drinking was done, but no one stepped out of line.
  4. I don't know how many times I've said it, but I wish these wee fannies who allegedly support our club would get to fuck. They are a shambles. There is simply no defence for their behaviour. Mind you, we probably need to look at some kind of serious self supervision being put in place to try and stop shite like this developing. Used to work well on a bus I went to the football on back in the 80s. A few hard bastards soon put the wind up any of the wee arseholes who thought they could get away with any old shite.
  5. Not The Rangers, but still a good one. In around 83 as well, me and my mate came back to Bo'ness from partaking in some shoplifting in Falkirk to go and watch Bo'ness United. Because the nights were drawing in the game kicked off an hour early, so we ended up missing the first half. As we walked in we asked two wee guys from our school what the score was. "2-0 to Tranent". Not too happy with the score, we stood behind the Bo'ness goal in the pishing rain. Tranent scored twice. We buggered off to the chippie as soon as the final whistle went. 4-0 defeat. We got to the chippie before the mob, got served and were leaving in a bit of a mood. As we step out of the chippie we hear a bloke with a BU scarf on moaning about losing a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2. Me and my mate started jumping about celebrating, having snatched a 2-2 draw from what we thought was a 4-0 drubbing. Everyone thought we were fucking idiots!
  6. Done in the last 2 years. Some wee neds "allegedly" set it on fire before they'd even finished laying it! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-48526545
  7. Rangers at Bo'ness? Lovely, makes my day just thinking about it. Plastic pitch though.
  8. I am normally quite bullish on things like this. I think we have more class than that and should not be doing it. However, we are talking Brown here. A man who has made a career out of being a dick and playing to an audience who lap up his jolly japes. Frankly, he is someone who deserves it. And what a load of pish about "golden rules".
  9. It's a tough one. I can see your point. But 38 games undefeated in the League, if we do it, is special I don't think you can ignore what Gerrard has been doing on the European front. 9 wins and a couple of draws against decent teams. 1 defeat. And this also helps Scottish football in general by boosting the coefficient - that can't be ignored in the thinking. 3 defeats it would be in 56 matches, potentially 44 wins.
  10. I think the Founders Trail guys do the old school silk scarves. I got a couple a few years ago.

I think that's the most generous offer I've had on here, squire, but I couldn't possibly. What I have done is buy one from a fella on Ebay!

Thanks again, my man. Very much appreciated.

No problem. Happy you've got one of your own now.

When the football is back, I'll keep my eyes open for someone else wearing an old school scarf and challenge them to a duel!

  11. Would love to see a striped blue and white strip.
  12. Halliday. Shit player, shit pundit. Nuff said.
  13. I probably agree with you completely. For the first time ever ! The only thing I would add is that there does come a time when enough is enough. We may just get lucky as things are looking up on the COVID front, so less chance of a daft bugger chancing his arm, getting caught and Rangers having to make the call.
  14. I gathered that from the stuff on here. It is shocking people pay good money and have to listen to those wallopers. Sky must be infested.
  15. I don't have Sky Sports. That's me told.
  16. I notice a hoor of a number of players from Leicester and Birmingham women's teams, along with U23s from Leicester City, were at a party. Didn't you notice the hullabaloo?
  17. If my experience of the wasters you come across in life are anything to go by, that's the kind of mince they would come out with!
  18. I am kind of stuck on what should happen to the five of them. Zungu is gone, that's a given. However, one thing that makes me laugh is the whataboutery, especially with reference to the tinks. I always thought as a club we held ourselves to higher standards, so fuck comparing how we should deal with things with that shower.
  19. Wee question; if he didnt say what has been written in the newspaper, how can they get away with writing what is effectively a lie? By the way, I believe you when you say he didn't say it. Period.
  20. Chinese or Turkish? Asking for a friend.
  21. We are talking different things here. Some folk are saying the money should be taken out separately for each ticket, nearer the time of the game. That would be a problem, as per what I previously said. I also think they can't take the money out after the first game, that'd be madness. Could they have waited a week or so - maybe. I was completely unaware the club can void your season ticket with absolutely no explanation. News to me, and I've had one on and off for over 20 years. I would be surprised if someone did lose their ticket for no reason; I can see no reason why they couldn't take Rangers to the small claims court if they did that. Money grab - probably, but as I originally noted we all knew this was the likely outcome of qualifying for the group stages - I can remember the year we played Parma I booked my group stage tickets before we qualified, so the money was out as soon as we did qualify - at a discount as well.
