Went to the game with my young bro in law with instructions from my wife to look after him....We were in usual position behind the goals when I decided we should leave before the end...wifes words ringing in my ears...made our way to Stairway 13 ...always exited there as we lived through Ibrox Terrace...but when we looked at crowd of people trying to leave he was a bit apprehensive...we had come down it many times and yes it was scary..feet not touching the ground until you were at the bottom...so we made our way along to the Edmiston Drive exit...got home... I laid down on the floor (carpeted) in front of a glowing fire and drifted off into the land of nod...had had a heavy night previously ..but strangely in my "dreams" could hear what sounded like fire engine alarms etc...wasnt long after that that I got wakened up by loud banging on the outside door...and could hear my Mums voice saying "Hes in there"...one of my mates came in "Thank god your ok"...That was how I found out about it...have often wondered ..What if.?... Sorry about your bro.

Fondest memories of the subway was of a cracking new "burd" I had met at the Barrowland Ballroom....doesnt that sound grand ..a week earlier...Arranged a date and we met at the Boots corner Argyle street...There she was mini skirt..ok "pelmet"...looking great...and of course "tights" hadnt been invented...anyways taking her back to my place on the subway....ok..ok...still lived wae ma maw...it was from St. Enoch to Cessnock....Imagine the scene..I just wish I had been the guys sitting opposite... ..Now wondering where she is now...if your out there Betty give us a call...
