  1. With a week to go will put my money on 27000
  2. My 11 yr old is a Ger even though we live near Liverpool, he was singing a certain banned song loudly in the garden earlier.
  3. No, bit I do live I Lancashire! In all seriousness I think this is more to do with the grass roots / relaxed atmosphere / refreshing change of SFL3. Anyway, let's not count our chickens ....until we start winning away.
  4. United, pure scum, along with Septic, RFC / LFC forever.
  5. In 1980 I attended the FA Cup Semi Final at Hillsborough between Liverpool and Arsenal. I stood right behind the goal as a young teenager and got pinned onto a barrier. I managed to raise myself up so my hips were on the bar. My skin was torn badly on both sides with extensive bruising but nothing worse. In 1989 I had two tickets for the Leppings Lane End. I attended the match with my girlfriend who was only 5ft 1ins. I told her we would try and swap the tickets because of my previous experience on that terrace. We eventually swapped at 2.45 and got two stand tickets. I have no idea who took our tickets or what happened to them. Sometimes you have to take a good look at yourself and realise how lucky you are. I knew one person who died, only 17yrs old. It was Liverpool but could easily have been another team at the same ground or elsewhere. Anyone want any further information about this match or Heysel ( I was there too) please ask.
  6. Same here mate, support both teams. Hate the blinkerdness of some Gers when it comes to YNWA, it makes me cringe when the Scum sing it or they pretend to have some allegiance to Liverpool, they conveniently forget the violence they caused in the 60's (before my time!) when they visited Anfield, plenty of older fans have never forgiven them.
  7. So why did the police allow the situation at the ground to become dangerous in the first place? Have you ever been to Hillsborough?
  8. Come on the Kop when it is being belted out, nothing like Scum Park, are you a Tim?
  9. We'll fight with no surrender We'll fight for the boys in Red, We'll fight fight fight for Liverpool, The team that Shankly Bred..... Poor Scouser Tommy...
  10. What a tosser. Nothing wrong with YNWA except that the Scum stole it.
  11. One part of me hates to see Scotland struggling, the other say's rot in hell. Any Gers go to the game?
  12. Awesome, First Tour de France, then Olympics, now Grand Slam Tennis, Scottish, British and Proud.
  13. As a Scouser who supports the Gers and is a season ticket holder I have an affinity to both teams. My family moved from Glasgow to Liverpool in 1968. My Dad was on the Copland at the Ibrox disaster, I was at Hillsborough. If anyone comes to Liverpool they will realise there is a massive support for Rangers.
  14. As a supporter of both RFC and LFC ( what will I do if we ever have a competitive match!) I can assure you that the LFC support will take no notice of the bile spouted by one or two half wits. Massive support for Rangers in Liverpool, check out any pub on Old Firm Day ( not that I want to mention them!)
  15. Ibrox needs more singing, not less. At the moment it is virtually confined to BF1. Need to reinvigorate the rest of the ground and strike terror into the opposition. We have had 49000 and 46000 for league games so far and the atmosphere has been good but not great.
  16. I was at Heysel. If you need to know anything please ask.
  17. I was at Hillsborough so if anyone needs any first hand information about what happened please ask.
  18. Agreed, my dad was at Ibrox on that fateful day in 1971. The family moved to Liverpool and I ended up following both teams. I was at Hillsborough in 1989 so both tragedies are close to the family. RIP 66, RIP 96. RFC/LFC.
  19. Same here mate but in the early 70', love the match feeling this season, just wish we could crank up the volume a bit more and not leave it to BF1.
  20. As an out of towner reckon that a return to SPL football would never be the answer. Really refreshing at Ibrox this season, would love to see the Gers competing against the likes of Man City etc each week.
  21. At Ibrox in MRC though the atmosphere here is fairly dismal, live in Ormskirk, where are you from?
