I haven't been on this site for a while because I got sick to death of the people who would not let go that PLG (Pure Loser Guys) had left and WS (Winner Son) had taken over. These people purely blamed BF for everything that went on. I have signed on and read things but the comments from fellow fans have angered me so much I go away rather than causing bother etc. What I would like to say now is - FOR ALL PEOPLE WHO HATE BARRY AND WISHED HE LEFT BEFORE PLG - you were so wrong, he has provided so much to every game, and again he is our best player in this one - are you sure you want rid of our best player because he didn't get on with PLG???

I think that Svensson will only get better, especially with Weir and Ugo giving him advice. I have thought throughout the season Svensson has looked like he had potential and now that there are expereienced defenders there to teach him, he will only become better. He wasn't captain at his last club for no reason, he just didin't do well at Rangers to begin with because the manager couldn't explain to him what our game is like and how to play it.

My exact words were "that's what you get for signing a guy who's injury prone", however, I think both Ugo and Weir have had a very positive influence on Karl. He seems to try much harder now and doesn't have the same fear that you could see before when he went for a tackle or a header. Even if he doesn't play for the rest of the season and gives Svenson some good tips and advice that makes him a better player then he's worth the money because Svenson has potential given the right direction.

I agree we were solid at the back and I thought Svenson done well when he came on. I think he will live up to the challenge whilst Ugo is out injured. He seems to be a more confident player since PLG left and he's now willing to go for the header and tackle. He's still young and both he and Webster are probably the future of our defence so we should get behind him 100%. As to Thommo's injury, what is it? I obviously missed something because I actually couldn't understand why they took him off. Must've happened when I went to top up my vodka.

Great post. Two of his goals were penalties but he worked very hard today and was all over the park and put in a good few runs. Definately one of the best players at Rangers just now. My question to his doubters is, what position in the league would we be at the moment without him?

I think Buffel has been far too inconsistent during his career at Rangers. During some games he has been absolutely outstanding and others absolutely atrocious. I had hoped we would sell him in January, but would never wish him or any other player, regardless of who they played for, permanent injury. One of our biggest problems now is that nobody will sign him for a decent sum. I look forward to the return of Webster and Smith, as both are talented players. Here's hoping they have a speedier recover than what is expected.

Beccause Smith, like most realistic fans, realises that this season we can only get second place. The best time to get the best players available is in the summer, unless you want to pay over the odd prices. We are basically employing stop-gap players who can see us through until the end of the season and ensure we get CL football.

Nah it's just Lovenkrands was absolute mince on the left. He was comparable to Buffel in terms of "shitebaginess" in the tackle. Gutless would be a good way to describe him. Charlie Adam on the other hand gets abuse because: his corners are atrocious (never clears the first man in the box, usually opponents clear it with ease) his crosses from wings are atrocious (go either out of play or into the keepers arms) most of his passes are atrocious his final ball is atrocious he takes too long before deciding to pass (which slows down many a good attack) the majority of his shots are atrocious (even though he's scored a few) his decision making is atrocious he has no pace yet tries to run past players that'll do for now. I like the lad cause he's brave but bravery doesn't win trophies alone. (wve) (wve) Excellent post. But, I guarantee many people think he is excellent. Maybe it's harder for wide players to impress. Lovenkrands got abuse all the time just like Charlie Adam does too. So what you're trying to say is that we should sell Adam, like we did Lovepants? C'mon do you not think we need a proper left winger?
