  1. There's a lot of Rangers' supporters in Pompey. There are thousands of Scots domiciled there following their diascharge from either the Marines or the Navy. It's a great place. I had 6 happy years there.
  2. I won two tickets for this in a competition in the Hamilton Advertiser. My brother and I went to see it and neither of us were overly impressed.
  3. This cretin will always appeal to the lowest common denominator but perhaps he can tell us when, the "Inclusive" Tims last signed a Protestant from NI? I remember when I was studying Law (many, many years ago now) and one of the micks asked "when ur we gonnae get a Kafflik King or Queen"? The son of a well known referee promptly replied, "the day after we get a Protestant Pope". The class disintegrated in gales of laughter and Tim's face was a joy to behold.
  4. What on earth possessed Lafferty to think that what he did was the "Rangers' Way"? His apology should be both immediate and heartfelt. I never like to see any Rangers' player lowering themselves to that level.
  5. Oh, Gawd. Not again. This rumour surfaces regularly in many guises. Why oh why do people fall for it. Ask yourselves; who ion their right mind would buy the club in its current state.
  6. The Heroic efforts of all the directors of Moni Malawi are worthy of the most fullsome praise for the hard work they put in, not just for that night (and during it), but for a considerable time beforehand leading up to Friday night's success. What was witnessed on Friday night was the end result of many months of hard work. For everyone involved, in whatever capacity, well done; you did yourselves, your charity and your club, proud.
  7. I think he leaves a lot to be desired.
  8. He seems to have adapted well enough to have a net worth, at last estimate, of £700 million....... And what exactly, apropos his chairmanship of Rangers, does that prove?
  9. I think Smith was "found out" some time ago. For me, he has never been a good manager and, it didn't take the Evertonians long to see through him either. He's there because he's a friend of Murray. No other reason. BTW, this is not a point for debate. It is merely an opinion. Feel free to disagree.
  10. Nothing wrong with a bit of optimism. However, I wonder if those players that sellik have farmed out will be allowed to play against them? Or, will it be the usual a-la Fernandez, that they cannot play against sellik but they can play against Rangers? Is this fair? Is this not discrimination by another name? Why do the SFA allow this?
  11. This question seems to be raised every time one of the great unwashed is charged with some sectarian offence. I think they are more isolated incidents than any sign that tables are about to be turned.
  12. Whatever it is you've been taking, can you get it on prescription?
  13. David Edgar may not be everyone's cup of tea, but have you heard the one put up as spokesman by the RSA? At least Edgar does his homework and does not go on radio/TV without proper preparation. Agree with him or not, he is at least articulate.

  15. Be in no doubt, Leggatt is a bear. Also, we would not have won a lot of the games we did win without Boyd's goals, ergo, we would be a lot further behind the gargoyles.
  16. ..and don't forget the military wing .... all soldiers are wee Well, they certainly were in The Cameronians.
  17. Sadly, my scepticism has been to the fore lately too. The fact that this hokey cokey nonsense was honestly treated seriously by the press and worse yet by elected officials is just unbelievable to me. Doesn't that tell you something about the intellectual level of our elected officials? It tells me that I should be very worried indeed.
  18. Well done, VB. However; don't expect the police to do anything at the midden.
  19. Souness for me. He knew what playing for Rangers meant and he ensured that his playing staff did too. He was also not shy in telling the likes of McNee where to get off. How many negative stories were printed about Rangers under his stewardship? Not as many as now, I'll bet.
  20. So, Provan wouldn't know Edgar from a bar of soap? I bet the irony's lost on him - Provan, that is. :-))
  21. It would only be kind to call that article drivellous claptrap.
  22. Isn't this the man who, with Rangers', broke Scottish Football's previous record for a run of defeats. A Suma Cum Laude graduate of the Walter Smith school of tactics?
  23. Is it me, or are the papers really getting more "sensational" due to their diminishing influence - thanks to boards such as this and the Internet, in general? Naturally, in order to sell more of their gibberish, they appeal to the lowest common denominator - the by-products of Scotland's shame (the apartheid educational system).
  24. You only have to look at the current value of shares and witness their downfall under Murray's stewardship to see how Murray's fiscal acumen works. But fear not. I can confidently predict that when season tickets become renewable, there will miraculously appear more pie in the sky from ol' smoke-an'-mirrors himself. Who knows, maybe a new stadium; a casino, maybe, a hotel, even, jobs for thousands....?
