I agree completely. Beckham changed the game tonight and it was a superb goal egineered by him. He wasn't fit enough to start tonight though so the half time sub was the best option.

I'm undecided. On one hand it'll be funny as fuck if they don't and they might organise a Scotland v England friendly - which we are in a good position to win. On the other hand if they go through I'll have the other 3 teams in their group to cheer on at Euro 2008

Yeah I thought they were booing them too. I'm not really that bothered if they go through or not. If they lose tonight I'll have a laugh. But if they go through it'll I'll be able to support everyone playing against them at Euro 2008. Actually for that reason I hope they qualify!

I went for Boydy but mostly out of sympathy. I can't believe how many fans are turning our backs on him this season. A strikers job is to score goals and there's nobody better at it than he is. I'd like to see a partnership formed with Boydy for the finishing helped along by the workrate and strength of JCD.

That's a good point there. I personally wouldn't be offended in any way by Irish flags, even ones with Celtic logos on them. Banners supporting the IRA are definitely out of order though. And the Spanish attitude towards British people really annoys me. Spain is still largely a poor country with much of their income coming from tourism. That's tourism from US travelling to them. If only we could collectively stop going there and see if they appreciate us once they're stuffed?

I've not seen much of Naismith yet but from what I have seen I've been quite unimpressed considering how good everyone says he is. Needs a bit more time to settle before anything can be judged though. And I've been quite a fan of Novo for a long time but I don't see him fitting into the team for much longer so it's probably not worth renewing.

Button would be interesting because you continually hear English commentators say he's a great driver only let down by shite cars. Sticking him in a McLaren would prove that wrong or right but I doubt Dennis would take the chance.
