I don't think he is wrong. Occasion has been to big for him and he has been caught daydreaming from a defensive perspective. Particularly for their goal. He has however gave us some positivity in the final third but has picked the wrong option.

yes unfortunately i think thats the shortest period of optimism ive had for a player ever. The worse thing is in his interviews he appears to think he has been playing well and improving every week.

His performances and goals will be turning heads which will likely price us out of any permanent deal unless a large sell on clause is inserted. Unfortunately don't see him staying here past this season but we should enjoy him whilst he is here.

I like roofe. Easily the best striker on our books but I don't think he can be trusted to start in terms of you wouldn't bet against him picking up a tweak early doors in the game particularly as I expect it will be a rather physical game. I'd personally start dessers (can't believe I'm saying that) his confidence should be sky high after that performance and it is an opportunity for him to really kick start his Rangers career. Anyway I'm more worried about lammers getting a game tbh

As the poster who started this thread. That performance last night was much more like it from him. It was far from perfect but he worked ever so hard and got his rewards with a bit of skill and clever finish. As mentioned above if this isn't enough for him to fully kick on now in terms of his confidence then there isn't much hope for him.
