More than worthwhile. Was surprised at how dirty Newcastle played it tbh. Wasn't shy with tasty tackles. Second half I thought we were much better. Don't want to see jack, Lundstram, barasic or Sakala anywhere near the first team.

If possible I'd look to sell and bring in a replacement, Im not 100% convinced with Yilmaz either to be honest. I'd consider selling him too if we can wash our face in terms of what we would get back.

I just hope we do a better job of protecting him than we did morelos, that lad was character assassinated at every turn. Club didnt do enough imo to call people out on his poor treatment, Beale touched on it and Gerrard mentioned it a few times but the level of scrutiny he was put under was a disgrace. I agree with that, for me if you are having to seriously question returning after sampling what we can offer then its a huge red flag. Im hoping its for other reasons - we certainly shouldnt be having to convince him. We need players who are fully committed, I have no issues if his end game is to play in a better league as long as when he is here he gives everything.
