First we dont know what it is and we dont need to contribute. With the membership of C1872 apparently in decline I think it will be very difficult to get others to join any new initiative. The original idea may well have been for the fans to finance the refurbishment of Edmiston House but we may never know. Odd name for a CIC ,if its nothing to do with the building,and having the Rangers Secretary and a local publican forming it does make you think along certain lines.

I think it may have been an idea to refurbish EH and having someone run it but when it was investigated thoroughly the costs have killed it off.
If they are going to go down that road it should be managed inhouse rather than by any friends of the board type arrangement.

Its now a completely no win situation. The more people who cancel memberships the less people the remaining Directors are answerable to and consequently the more grip/ control they gain. There is something Dark and a rotten at the very heart of the Club these days. That's The assets of RF well and truly seized. Sad days considering the noble intentions when RF was first set up.

These two think there is no issue with Blair being on both boards . That tells you all you need to know about their corporate experience. An independent fans group with the club secretary on its board. No conflict at all.
They are banking on few having the guts to confront them and if they do the Storm Puppets will heckle them.
If this ends up with under 1000 members contributing it will be a result as they control all RF shares. An extra 5% or so of shares that King controls.
If I were a C1872 member I would be walking away if the majority of the membership didnt push to remove these four.

If you are in a minority you cannot effect change. Therefore if you consider the matter to be serious enough you have only one real choice- resign. That should be a sufficient warning to the membership that something is seriously wrong. For three trustees to resign would suggest that there is something seriously wrong with the governance in place. I am sure it was not an easy decision- but integrity can have a price.
