  1. That's a fair point and I agree that it's absolutely essential we get it right. However I believe at this stage we should know who our number one option is and as such we may need to move quickly. All due diligence and research on candidates IMO should be practically completed. Some of the names linked won't be available for much longer IMO. Regardless I just hope we get it right.
  2. First Warburton? Now Baxter? Definitely no bread and soup jokes there. Perfect recipe for success though.
  3. Some fair points. I suppose it just comes down to the individual, their family and timing. Timing is everything and on your last point Kenny Macintyre's twitter timeline is fairly interesting. Can't post from my mobile and it's just Macintyre's opinion but he seems to think if we offered him the job he'd take it although Macintyre doesn't believe Warburton is our first choice. Warburton stressed the urgency of preparing for pre season and moving quickly, so again, purely based on the tweets if offered now he may very well take it. Whether we do, whether he would take it and whether he would be a success only time will tell.
  4. I agree. I just mean generally. Players are generally more about chasing the money, understandably to an extent, as they have a shorter career span, and a lot are quite young and naive. Managers are generally a bit older and wiser. I think, sadly a player would probably pick Burnley or Sunderland, and the like over us. However, I believe a manager would sway more to us IMO.
  5. I think he's defo interested. If he wasn't I don't think he'd have done the interview or in doing the interview he'd have nipped it in the bud. If you know there's no chance of you taking a job I think you would say as much. I agree he'll have other clubs interested in him but I wouldn't necessarily say that means he'll knock us back if we want him. I would say managers are much different to players. They could easily have a 30/40 year career making loads of money even if they fail, so they have time on their side. I'd imagine therefore the chance to win trophies with us at a club the size of ours, with our history and fan base, if sold correctly by Murray, King whoever would be very appealing to many. Our potential is huge. The possibility and pressure of competing in Europe as opposed to fighting relegation all the time would be a plus too. The fact he is still young and raw can work both ways. I'd imagine if you asked him about being Rangers manager a few years ago he'd have bitten your hand off. Just need to wait and see. All very interesting though. I think he's certainly the right type of candidate we should be looking Al.
  6. Very interesting that he has not dismissed anything out of hand. Looks very positive. He's done a great job with Brentford and it seemed certain he was going to go to QPR or possibly a lower end EPL team, high end Championship team. I thought us not get promotion would possibly put him off but that doesn't seem to be the case. Davie Weir being up in Scotland too could indicate they may both be on their way.
  7. It's hardly a surprise. I hope we however come out and defend THE CLUB on this one. By all means, condemn Mohsni's reactions but there was provocation, and many many incidents at Fir Park that must be looked into. For anyone who hadn't seen the game, you'd think Mohsni/Rangers single handedly caused a riot without any form of provocation, and that no Motherwell players or fans did anything wrong. The Scottish Sun are apparently running with Mohsni having anger issues. Of course, that would seem pretty evident from us who have seen him during his time here but if the guy does have genuine anger issues, and has been receiving any form of treatment for this, it's more understandable why he did react, and those who are calling him a nutter, mentalist etc may think twice about the kind of language they use when speaking about his behaviour. Derek McGregor ‏@McGregorDerek 4m4 minutes agoBilel Mohsni's confessed he's got anger management issue. #ScottishSun online.
  8. I fully realise I am pretty much communicating with myself here, which is the first sign of madness (it's been a bad day though) however Icardi just scored twice tonight to tie with Toni. Toni was 2 ahead so, my above bet lives on. JUST albeit I will have a dead heat selection and not win anywhere near 9 grand if I even win. I had given up hope but at least i've still got interest..... Need: Barca to beat Juve. Williams or Sharapova to win the French Open. Djok to win Wimbledon.
  9. Yeah pretty much agree on that. Erwin messed up. You can't just use physical violence (regardless of intent or force). Whilst still being an adult, he's still young and will possibly learn from it. He's the least of our worries, and I certainly won't be losing any sleep over that. Maybe over our performances though....
  10. I don't think whether Erwin is or was a Rangers fan, or his age has any relevance. We have just been embarrassed 6-1. The majority of our team, including Mohsni will be leaving. They just want to get off the park ASAP. The last thing you really want to do is hang around with Motherwell fans and players celebrating in your face. Erwin has allegedly offered to shake Mohsni's hand. Mohsni has allegedly refused and said fuck off. If any of that is true, then IMO Erwin MAY have been offering a handshake in a patronising way, just my opinion. You only have to look at his post match interview. He said about us getting up "we can wait our turn", took no responsibility for the push, saying playing for us means Mohsni shouldn't act that way trying to take some sort of moral high ground to justify his actions, and then saying they "battered us". Some of his comments MAY have an element of truth but the way in which he said it, to me, suggests he may not have conversed with Mohsni as eloquently as he implies. Regardless, if you've just won 6-1 and someone, who will probably be hurting, tells you to fuck off (if true), then you laugh it off and celebrate with your own fans. You don't let it get to you. You don't shove someone who is clearly not in the mood. Erwin is an adult. He is responsible for his own actions. He shoved Mohsni and as such he fully deserved a form of retaliation. Do I think it's befitting behaviour of a Rangers' player? Absolutely not but let's not kid ourselves, if someone shoves you, i'd say a high percentage of us would react. If this happens when you're already pissed off, an even higher percentage would retaliate IMO.
  11. I think it was a pretty fair assessment. As well as saying they had lady luck he also said we probably weren't good enough, we lacked that bit of quality and for a spell in the 1st game Motherwell played well. I think he was right. There is such a fine line between success and failure, and, at times, luck certainly plays it's part. If Law scores in the first game, if they don't score their deflected goals, if Clark scored and got it to 1-1 straight away, if Boyd scored, if Miller scored, if we got a penalty, so on and so forth. There's always so many ifs buts and maybes, and one bit of luck CAN changed the whole game. Regardless of luck though, and I don't think luck was on our side, the sad thing is, we simply weren't good enough, and that hurts.....
  12. He sounds like an Audley Harrison character. All talk! I hope he is waiting, and I hope this time he gets sparked out. Wee dick.
  13. Agreed. He shoved Mohsni thinking he's a big shot, then tried to turn away. Mohnsi proceeded to boot him and hook him for being a tadge. I guess Mohsni probably knows he's leaving so he probably thought fuck it, what's this wee prick all about! For the Motherwell cunts to then all try to jump Mohsni was cowardly and embarrassing. Mohsni was walking away after his left hook and then they all tried to take on Mohsni. Mohsni still won! Erwin started it but picked on the wrong dude. It doesn't show us in a great light however, it has briefly taken my mind off another spineless and inept performance. And if you're gonna be a dick shoving people from behind then don't be surprised if someone retaliates!
  14. The scary thing is, everyone single one of us have been criticising Bell for months. It's not really surprising to be honest that he has fucked up again. Hope he never plays for us again...........

  16. We're not going to get a free kick, we're not going to get a penalty, and there's a good chance we'll be down to ten men with this cunt in charge. No one us going to help us. That much is clear. Get fucking stuck into the players at half time McCall, and get this siege mentality into them. Let's fucking show these cunts and everyone else that we can still fucking do this. Fucking into them.....
  17. Fuck you Thomson! This cunt has probably been creaming in his pants to get this game for 3 years only to fuck us right over. Every fucking decision! Dirty cheating bastard!
  18. If we can somehow score before the 70 minute mark I think they could crumble. However with our poor finishing, lack of creativity and this cunt refereeing then it's not going to be easy...... It's still possible though.....
  19. Has Gary McC always been a prick? Someone knock the fuck out of that baldy prick in the crowd and get the cunt the jail! Dirty cowardly bastard.
