  1. I remember this. It knocked down an old boy who was in a bad way. The car got stopped at lights or either in volume of boddies. Loads of beats started pilling into it. Mdont think there was a panel left that was not bashed
  2. you comment is a disgrace. totally lacking any class and respect. He will have learned significantly from Smith during the past 4 years
  3. I went to club europe earlier in the season and they were showing ESPN. if I remeber rightly it was the t*rriers that were on
  4. Advocatt also comes into this also. I know the argument if Murray who signs the cheques etc however there can be no modern manager who is not fully aware as to the clubs financials uote name='djw1992' timestamp='1295730515' post='1058658375'] There are a number of possible 'blamees'. SDM: For not having enough patience with the Le Guen experiment, for giving Walter Smith more money to spend that could be afforded. Bain: For not negotiating better contracts (with sponsors as well as players). Walter Smith: For making a number of poor, short term fix signings, for failing to get his team to beat Kaunas. The bank: For not keeping a closer eye on our spending, thus allowing us to get into this mess. I'm not saying these are the exact reasons why, but they are potential ones.
  5. I remeber this game. the tension after the whistle to end the minutes silence was fierce. chants of SCUM, SCUM for several minutes. All bears will be silent come next week, there will be the few of them who will enbarass themselves, they truely are scum
  6. Was superb again today. Brilliant all round performance
  7. 1-11 everyone to a man we were superb!!!
  8. Totally agree. Fight for everything and hit the bastards hard. We are the rangers
  9. Stuart Munro Nigel Spackman Both cracking players IMO
  10. Even before I read other guys replies I had in my head that Parma game. Was in the club deck that night and I cannot remeber a better euro night at Ibrox. It truly was awesome, Parma were a fantastic side but we played brilliantly that night. Another personal candidate for me was 1990 scottish cup semi final at hampden against them. horrendous conditions and Davie Rob sent off after 5 minutes but super Ally with the goal that took us through. they didn't half batter us in the 2nd half hitting post and bar if memory serves me right. A great and proud night to be a ranger
  11. The main issue is there aint gonna be any money to bring anyone in. Boyd and others leaving is the whole point. Unfortunately from what Walter has been saying, this is only the start of it. If we do not have a change of hands soon we are going to struggle really badly. Cutting our cloth is going to mean only a very poor qulaity in my opinion
  12. there are going to be a queue of folk lookin gat him if he runs the contract down, see this all the time with decent young players, if there is enough potential there they will pay the cash
  13. only 1 year left on the contract. of he does not sign a new one he has to go. simple as that and makes good business sense. I so think the boy coulod be a player though given what he has shown this season and would prefer him to stay
  14. agree there, but its the players that step onto the pitch, only so much smith and co can do and say Agree mate, my only comment is that it is always the manager that carries the can. if the team fails the manager gets the bullet, similarly he should get the full praise when things are clicking together. I have seen Wallace, Souness and Smith in charge. sure Walter had lots of cash first time round to spend however I think what he has achieved 2nd time round is nothing short or remarkable. to have taken this sqaud to as many honours and also to Manchester I will never forget. Up there as one of the top menegers in world football. might take a hit from some folk on that but how many tyimes have people said how good his man management skills are. Arise Sir Walter IMO
  15. Thats exactly where they were mate. was waiting to see who would come in first (pardon the pun)
  16. McCoist, Durrant, Thomson, Whittaker and McGregor all in Birmingham airport lounge late last night. Couple of other suits with them also though no faces I recognised. Chatted with McCoist and Durrant for a bit, you just get the proudness from speaking with them as to what the club means and the role they are playing. No surprises that the dressing room was a little tasty after the game on Sunday however both of them were very adament they will be well fired up for Sunday. Seems they were down on a bit of business (whatever they mean by that) and catching up with some old friends, I assume not to far away at St Andrews. Very nice guys to blether with.
  17. I couldn't agree more. Rangers to the core and no better man in charge in my opinion. Arise Sir Walter!
  18. now now, how do you know he's a Celtic fan? Cause he looks like one and I can smell him from here
  19. Belter, love it. This is the one for me
  20. My most favourite OF game ever. We were brilliant considering the circumstances. I as soaked throgh on the uncovered terrace but loved every minute. From memory in the 2nd half they battered us and typically couldn't score. Brilliant night
  21. Very harsh mate IMO. None of our other strikers are setting anythign alight either or likely to do so prior to the end of the season. The prime reason we are still in contention is the goals and games that Boyd has dug us out of. He needs to play the remianing games for us to stand any chance of reclaimning the flag
  22. I agree One of the guys I work with is a Sunderland season ticket holder. He is never done raving about him
  23. Add to the list getting beat of ICT and dropping 2 points against Hearts a couple of weeks ago
