  1. Oh fuck aye.......was always a nightmare Getting in at the Janefield end was also very nasty at times. Against a wall on one side and a metal fence around a block of flats on the other side. I remember being punted over the fence by my old man on many an ocassion as result of the crushing
  2. He needs to dry his eye's. Off the top of my head, for the past few years the last OF game after the split has not been the first game and has indeed been either the second or third. First sign of weakness from them IMO
  3. You say it is know that Smith will leave. Where are you sourcing this information from?. The last thing we need is another period of upheavel. New manager coming in, not fancying the players there, no money to bring in their own guys and eventually paying folk off as has been the case over the past 5-10 years. Even if it is assumed that Ally will take the reigns there will still be an element of this
  4. The primary reason why Rangers are coming down on them is not princiaplly beacsue of the drinking but for flicking the V sign. Pair of twats, not a pair of young boys who are coming into the game. These are two guys, Ferguson in particular who should know better and the standards of being a Rangers player should always know better. They are no way being hung out to dry IMO
  5. Totally agree. what we need at the moment is stability and that does mean sticking with the current manager like it or not. We are still paying the price footballing wise and finacially of having 3 new manager in the last 7 years or so. New managers being in their own players. This means thatsome of the players who are already there and the new manager does not fancy drop of the radar and has been the case for us on many occassions - they are paid off which is just simply money down the drain
  6. A rather naive business attitude. No businessman is ever going to show his hand in this manner. There is no way he will walk away for next to nothing. People can have thier opinion that his tenure has run it's course but this is a guy who has significantly contributed financially to Rangers over the years and he aint going anywhere soon as no buiness man would touch any SPL club with a barge pole as there si simply no money in it
  7. Exactly what I was thinking. The wind left our sails when they scored so early and naturally their tails went up. Very sadly we never looked like coming back and I feared for the worst when they scored as to how many it could actually be let alone us coming back at them
  8. cheerio now, with that attitude you certainly will not be missed. We need REAL fans at the moment
  9. who gives a flying fuck about that roly poly prick, best way to shut him up is to ram it down his fucking throat by SCORING AGAINST HIM its rangers we should be having a go at, not the SFA ffs totally agree mate. we were pish yesterday and there is no detracting from that about that half wit getting booked
  10. very good point well made. Financially if we do not win the league this year we are going to be years behind them. IMO we are only just hanging in there at the moment
  11. even more formal in the WRC, you need to weat a tuxedo and also a top hat..... LOL. nice 1 , cheers
  12. I have been invited along to this in a few weeks time. Has anyone else been - it is any good. Cash bar I assume. Have been to a few in the stadium which have been formal in terms of suit, shirt and tie etc. Is the Wee Rangers club less formal than this? Cheers
  13. Have to agree with that. Boogie, Weir and big Lee were a stand out for me today. Good bit of dig also getting into them which we have been needing for a while as I feel that more than us in previous games (final 2 last season especially). though he broke the game up really well in there. Well done big man
  14. It is all he has got though. Goes down like a cheap hooker at the slighest contact and his elbows fly on many other occassions. He is stuggling at the moment which is a great sign for us as he is probably the best natural finisher thry have
  15. Thought both Boogie and Weir at the back were immense. they are shocking up front and hopefully will be thier undoing this season. We have better players sitting on the bench today with goals in them than they could offer
  16. My thoughts exactly. It's amazing how small things like this can wind you up on OF day. They certainly have nailed their colours to the mast. Bears were brilliant today, found myself singing along for most of the game
  17. fantastic news. we are missing his bit of dig
  18. I though that he did ok. He does not seem to have a turm of pace which does concern me especially since he is unlikely to geta sniff up front for some time to come. I would love to see Novo in for the OF game as I feel that full backs and especially Hinkel is there weak spot and a bit of pace could be the undoing
  19. WE AGREE WITH McGEADY LOL. Love it
  20. Sky article is dated June 08. Remember thy have signed Loovens from cardiff also since then. If he was that much a standout why sign another centre half before this guy
  21. PLG was in my opinion a diaster for us. we will never know what might have been however his signings were poor and to have centre halves in particular to be as vulnerable to crosses as we wer at that time in this country is never going to work. In that respect and the results to the point he left I feel that the best decision was made for him to go. I agree with a previous point, just not suited to our game and with hindsight appears to have been very unprepared for waht he was coming to despite as we are told haveing lots of material from Rangers and of course the power of tinternet
  22. Boy only saying what everyone else saw (except the officials of course). We need to keep up the pressure on officials. We have had so many bad decisions against us but continuing to turn the screw on them (following WS's comments at Motherwell) I feel can only help and eventually turn the tide
  23. The most frustrating thing for me is that we had the cash in the summer and it was spent poorly. Heavens knows why we needed so many strikers. With hindsight WS has placed to much faith in Davie Weir who I think has been poorer this season certainly in comparrison to last year. This is also compounded by the fact that injuries to any of them and we are struggling for a centre half hence LM playing there. The transfer window concerns me as they have money to burn whilst come the summer our debt will be touching 30M. This will be a monkey round our neck for a few years to come and even more so if we do not win he league this season as it looks unlikely even us or them will qualify given the new entry route
