I thought Dowell played well against St Johnstone.

You can assess his goals. He scored a good goal against us at Ibrox. There will be better out there, but the argument was about Dessers, who will never be a prolific goalscorer.

He’s five goals more in a worse team. He scores plus 20 goals most seasons, Dessers doesn’t.

This season. Shanklands scored 13 goals and two assists 24 games. Dessers 8 goals 3 assists 26 games. Dessers has never been prolific in his career. Shankland is prolific, albeit some of it was down the levels, but he's played in poorer teams with less chances than he would get with us.

We need someone to protect the right side with Tav going forward. Maybe a role for Sterling here.
