Same team that started against Hibs.
Templeton didn't do much against Hibs but it would kill the boys confidence if he was dropped after one game. Templeton needs a solid run of games to find some sort of form that will make or break his Rangers career.

The start of new era should be better than Burnley on a Tuesday? I couldn't give a monkeys fuck less who the start of a new era is. Who was Advocaat's first game against? PLG? Does it really matter. What matters is that we're set to go for the season, not a jolly for fans to go away and get smashed.

I'd rather we concentrated on putting a team on tje park that will win the league than 'rewarding' fans with a piss up down south.

Not that impressed with McCall's comments on SSN. If he didn't see the incident he should have reserved judgement until he did. You don't hang one of your players out to dry on the back of a journalist's description of events.

He was assaulted - a shove is technically an assault. Let that sink in. He shouldn't have punched Erwin but, unlike Erwin's decision to shove him, it was a spur of the moment reaction. There was no justification for Erwin to do what he did. He should have walked away and celebrated a big win for his team. Instead, he caused a stooshie that otherwise would not have happened.

I love all the hard cunts on here giving it large about throwing some fucks into the Motherwell supporters, why we're they not leading the charge, too busy acting hard on a forum I suppose.
We'll done the supporters for not reacting, the last thing we need is a fine for another riot. We got gubbed, hopefully next year we will be the gubbees. A shite ending to a shite season, next year will be better surely. Onwards and upwards.

Not in this country. Remember the Celtic shame game in 1999 became the Old Firm shame game because our players had the audacity to do a huddle two minutes after the final whistle. Expect the usual demonisation of all things Rangers by the media and authorities.

Agree. Not condoning Mohsni but Erwin was equally culpable in being the instigator of the physical violence. If they are arrested, expect another Butcher-McAvennie outcome in any court case though.

Commentator "the obligatory pitch invasion" and then "Motherwell fans taunting the Rangers fans".
If it had been the other way about, the media and politicians in this country would have been outraged, a summit would have been called to make sure we got blamed, and they would have thrown the book at us. Well done our fans for not reacting and making a terrible day even worse.

''We have the obligatory pitch invasion.,''
    Obligatory.
If one fan from our end stepped foot onto that pitch it would've been deemed a national scandal. Whereas motherwell fans breaking the barriers to incite a riot by sprinting to the away end (with a police escort and a heavily guarded away end) is celebrated as an obligation. Our sad wee country, folks.

Anything is better than our current situation but Stuart certainly wouldn't have been my choice. We need someone who can quickly pick up and transform a poorly performing team with players who are low in confidence, Stuart's record on that front - well quite simply he doesn't have a record, he's quit twice with other clubs when the goings got tough.
Do like the guy though and hope he proves me wrong for Rangers sake.

Agree. Their right back is a drama queen, was at it again later in the half. However, he has now been booked and looks out of control at times. I would play on him big style second half, get McLeod out on the left with Wallace and let's put him and referee under pressure.

It would be nice if the so called Rangers supporters, who claim to be "real Rangers men" could come along and at least do as they said and pay game by game!

Her Majesty will be desperate it doesn't overrun so she can get back to the palace, have a cup of tea, and watch the bears game on Rangers TV.

The irony is that urquhart has gone to Coventry City under Pressley, remember him, one of our youth players who wasn't good enough for the first team at Ibrox.
The fact is that there are hundreds of players who are good enough to play for hundreds of teams, but very few who are good enough to play for Rangers. It's a fact of life that Rangers will have an abundance of talent available to us, very few have/will make the break through into the first team.
The circumstances at the moment dictate that we must win the Championship this season, just like we had to win Div 3 and Div 1. At Dundee Utd, mediocrity is expected and delivered. Not here.
