If Ridvan doesn't get a game at the weekend based on Barasic's woeful performance then he may as well pack his bags and head back to Turkey

Personal Choice nothing more. But I haven't got an issue with Sean Dyche if that was the preferred appointmente....the guy did outstandingly well keeping Burnley in the EPl for all those years with a limited budget, as compared to the big boys. However, his style and approach to football was about survival , a draw for Burnley in any game was a great result. He cant bring that to us.. As long as he came to us with a different 'mind think' and approach then I'd accept his appointment. -

We have to be realistic on our goals...and at the moment, and for a coupe of years at least, we have to focus on our domestic competitions, as shit as some of them are. We're going backwards in footballing terms. Back to basics with McCann and Thompson would be a good punt for me. -
Fook....I've managed to hold it until I seen this pic......says everything..thank you

Report Card....can run very fast but absolutely no end product. Need to try a lot harder
-
Not to blame... really? He shit himself and he ducked to get his head out of the way. He's a centre back ffs, supposed to be a rock,,nothing shall pass, unless its going to spoil my looks by getting smacked in the face. S*hit bad of the highest order and a constant bomb scare. Take out his 70 yard diagonal pings across the pitch and he has nothing to offer.

Lundstrum's tackle and his sending off all came from Kent's inability to make a 2 yard fook**n pass. -

Funny how peeps see and read a game differently. As I said earlier, I think this was by far our worse performance of our entire Europa run, and yet, we only got beat by a missed penalty kick. The chance was there and we blew it. So many of our key players just didn't turn up tonight. All ifs, buts and maybe's but we didn't play extremely well. -

Hurting like fook and I was screaming at the telly when I saw Ramsey walk up to take a penalty. But hey ho its happened and as usual when we think that we have a chance for our club to be placed on a 'pedestal' we seem, with ever ending regularit,y to hit the self destruct button and manage very easily to knock the foundations away ourselves. That performance tonight was by far the worst of our entire Europa run and we brought that sh1t performance to the final. I really cant give anyone but Calvin Bassey pass marks. -

Travelling down to Prestwick to watch the game with my lad. More than likely we'll never be in this position again (hope I'm wrong though) so its important to spend this special day with family and friends. Enjoy it fellow bears but don't forget, if we do manage to win, to raise a glass to all our 'sleeping bears' Gone but never forgotten... -
This performance tonight was nothing short of outstanding... Yes, sometimes he try's that extra touch too much...but there is no doubt this lad, if he continues to improve, ( and he will) will be sold in a year or so for a Scottish record transfer fee. Get him signed to a new contract tomorrow morning.

Same here brother...greetin like a wean who's dummy has been stolen -
I don't have a scooby as to how Leipzig play or if their central defenders are Big ugly Baskets but I remember when we played the mhanks a few years ago and Neil McCann played through the middle and scored against them twice (I think). His pace was the difference that day and their defenders just couldn't handle it. Yes, I know McCann had an end product and we're talking about Sakala but what other option is there? I like everyone accept that Sakala can be a frustrating as f**k , especially when hes in front of the goal but GVB has a few days to 'teach, instruct or if required, boot him in the "hee haws" to produce a performance.

I also say Bassey was immense.. -
Clark hates us with a vengeance, there is no way he'd want to come to us.

If you use your logic then every manager other than the winners of the league, any league or whilst in charge of other teams in the lower leagues would be classed as numpties or non winners. Anyway, I would have thought anyone with even a small bit of savvy would have realised the Scottish connection would relate to someone who knows the strengths and weakness of his opposition and how the other team are likely to set up. And in relation to " having winners on charge" who the f*ck are you referring to, because is sure isn't GVB? I'll return all your lol lol lol ....wtf is that all about?
-
Maybe we just have to accept GVB just doesn't have it as a manager, although I think it was the fans who put him on a pedestal that was the driver for his appointment. He is showing his ineptness, especially where it relates to the domestic league. Yes, he was a great player for us but so was John Greig and McCoist, both legends of the club and on the field but not good as managers. I've said it from the start of his appointment, we should have made provision somewhere within his back room staff for a Scottish input, ideally for someone like wee McCann.

Our best player by far. Willing to take ball and drive forward. -
He was totally outclassed.....but the players were humiliated and given a football lesson and that is worse
-
I think the issue is in how we actually lost that 1 game....It was a 3-0 humping going 6 or 7 and final score flattered us and that's the hard thing to take. I'm not chucking it, but I want to see a manager who criticises his players (and by f**k, they deserve to be criticised) learn form his own mistakes and actually do something about it. Same old, same old will be his downfall.
-
Bang on...yes GVB has to take responsibility for his sh&t tactics but there were players out there who surrendered and hid in the first 5 mins. Tav, Goldson, Kent, Kamara and especially Barasic....shambolic performances and so many failings

Carnbroe Bear replied to ElBufalo20's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Just want us to stop this sh**e of trying to see out a game when we have a slender single goal lead. If we're pressing the opposition and the balls up their end of the pitch they ain't scoring at our end. It's not rocket science. Sitting back and allowing teams to come to us always has the potential for a jammy deflection or a cock up between the defenders. Now that's something we appear to be very good at Old saying that you have to learn by your mistakes...but we don't seem to be grasping that.
