Naismith speaks on his departure....
marstonbear replied to mitre_mouldmaster's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
There was no necessity for him and Whittaker to do a news conference when they left the Club, he didn't have to say anything at the time. I wouldn't hold what he said then against him were he ever to rejoin us, I'd solely judge him by what he did on the park. -
No, DK said home kit unchanged but new 2nd and 3rd strips
-
Ashley's a rich guy presumably in part because he knows how to negotiate a good deal. Having our retail deal by the nuts is no good if nae cunts buying.
-
According to the team lines at the bottom of the report, we didn't even bother with a keeper
-
I'm not saying he was the only poor performer but WTF was Halliday on? He could have had no complaints had he been red carded for the Roberts challenge & he was AWOL at the first goal. Aside from his goal v Hibs in the SC Final, the best position he's taken up in the last year was in the Broomie with the Union Bears after the Dumbarton game.

Ugo played top level football for 15 or so years. On the day he dies the Beeb mention his stats on a computer game. Some people are saying that isn't offensive? Get real FFS.

I wasn't close to a return.
marstonbear replied to He's blue he's white's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
He'd have took the job if offered it, from what I can see the offers for his services are not flooding in -
Stick them on the Rangers Collectors Club page on FB. There's not a massive market for Rangers News but they'll be going to a Bear

Don't know the percentage of shares Desmond's owns, but if it is over 30%, he would have had to make an offer to buy everyone else's shares. That's the UK rules on takeovers. A bidder will be required to make a compulsory bid where it either: acquires (whether or not pursuant to a series of transactions or over a period of time) an interest in shares which, together with shares in which the bidder is already interested, carry 30 per cent. or more of the voting rights in a target company;

Was beginning to think it was just me
-
There is no vote, he must make the offer, up to you whether you accept
-
Up to you if you want to believe me or not, but you do not have to accept King's offer.
-
I don't understand, if you don't have to sell, why are you a loser?
-
Correct, this ruling means King must offer every existing shareholder 20p for each share they hold. It's up to the seller if they accept or not. Have had a quick read and it seems shares would be currently valued at around 4p I believe most people paid around 70p per share

If I read this right, if Queen's Park take 4 points from their last 2 fixtures, we won't even make the final of this year's Glasgow Cup. Anyone able to confirm? Current table at 28 January 2016 PldWDLFAGDPts Celtic5311152+1310 Rangers531184+410 Queen's Park4202107+36 Partick Thistle4004323-200

*****Official Raith Rovers v Rangers Match Thread*****

Any update on the Jason Holt injury? -
I'd say this was the best piece of news to come out of Ibrox all year. It says to me that The Three Bears are determined to get a relevant say in how things are run at Rangers. If you want the Club run by Rangers minded people then it's great news. However, if you'd prefer it if the Club was controlled by faceless individuals or run by the owner of a sports goods emporium then you may be a little disappointed by today's news

I'd vote yes if I thought the board would be diligent enough to source a replacement that could take us forward -

It's a yes from me -
The Rangers News. Once an excellent read but by its later years reduced to publishing photos of dogs in Rangers strips
