  1. Thanks a lot mate Does that mean 18 year olds are eligible for concession then, aye?
  2. What age do you need to be for a concession ticket? Is it 16-18 and 65+ or just 65+ ?
  3. Just started uni, not got my bursary yet. When i do get it i need to pay people back for loads different things. To put it simply, I'm skint.
  4. Eh? You're more likely to fail in the SPL if you're lightweight tbh 'cause strength is such a huge thing here. Other players just kick you off the ball and get away with it all day - Ross Tokely Lightweight, pacey, agile, skillful players seem to do perfectly fine in the EPL. Don't see us being able to afford him anyway. Man City have had him for 4 years, putting a lot of work into developing him and they rate him very highly, so I don't see them selling him. And even if they do, it will be well outwith our price range
  5. Any idea if you can buy a ticket for the game on Wednesday or if you have to buy full package? Also how much it would be?
  6. I remember reading that the ruling was you could stutter your run up (a la CR7) but faking just before you hit the ball was banned... Players should just fucking hit the ball instead of dancing before they take it anyway.
  7. According to Greaves website, they don't
  8. Soccer Triads High quality fakes here for under 20 quid. Never used it myself but seen a few on here have used it so they can vouch for it more than me. When it's just for playing football in I'm guessing it would do the job. Unfortunately, the Hamburg tops are out of stock just now

    FIFA 11 Demo

You can also unlock Arsenal to play as. Don't ask me how you do it, I think it's after you win with every team or something, Arsenal appear in the team selection screen.
  10. Always horrible to hear of things like this, especially when you've experienced family going through the same. Even worse that he's so young. Get well soon
  11. Bogle, any chance you can tell me who the burd is in your avatar Can't take my eyes off her
  12. Mugs are for tea. I like tea. So drugs are for me.
  13. FT Everton 3-3 Man Utd 2 goals in added time Fuck yer Manure
  14. Love it. Is this cut after Weiss was fouled for the 5,000,000th time or somethin?
  15. Meningitis survivor so they have my support Good on them. Would have been a great thing to be involved in
  16. Me and a few mates were talking about it and there are a few tough choices to be made. Central defence is not an easy one because I don't rate McManus at all, and believe Weir should not be playing as he is too old and his lack of pace means the defence has to adapt to suit this. Berra, Kenneth and Wilson should all be considered along with Webster when he is fit. Central midfield would be easy to fix if Scotland managers would just stop trying to play Fletcher as a creative, attack minded player. Play him the way he plays for Man Utd, also the way McCulloch plays for us tbh. Partner him with Dorrans and/or Adam depending on whether we're playing 4-4-2 or 4-5-1. The wings should have Morrison, Naismith, Maloney, Robson all in competition for places and any 2 of them would be fine by me, although personally I'd probably go for Morrison and Maloney. Up front Miller and/or Fletcher. Easy decision imo. Boyd showed last night he doesn't give two fucks about playing for Scotland, and his form for Middlesbrough hasn't been the best anyway. So this could give a team of: 4-4-2 McGregor Hutton Webster Berra Whittaker/Wallace Morrison Fletcher Dorrans Maloney Miller Fletcher Subs: Gordon Kenneth Wilson Robson Adam Naismith Hartley 4-5-1 McGregor Hutton Webster Berra Whittaker/Wallace Morrison Dorrans Fletcher Adam Maloney Miller Subs: Gordon Kenneth Wilson Robson Fletcher Naismith Hartley
  17. He has his moments every few games, but most games I just see him as a greedy, average player keeping the likes of Morrison and Dorrans out. He would not get near my Scotland team.
  18. Who the fuck decided international football was to move to Fridays and Tuesdays instead of Saturdays and Wednesdays. Fucking horrid decision

    Fifa 11

You can use the right analog stick to dive and there is also a button that automatically makes the keeper dive in the direction the ball is going. I was having a look at the EA Fifa forums and there was a thread saying that Fifa 11 was going on tour in the UK. All you had to do was register for it on the Gamerbase website and then it picked the first 50 people registered for that area, then you just turned up on the day and played The passing feels totally different to me. It's so much easier to underhit or overhit a pass now and if you try to hit a pass at a weird angle it probably wont go where you want it. Ping pong passing is hard even with the bigger teams as first time passing makes it harder to direct the pass in the right direction with the right power and so you end up giving the ball away if you try to first time pass it too much. AI Keepers have improved IMO. They make better saves and I saw some brilliant double and triple saves. They don't come as far out as they did in past Fifa's and just seemed to be better Demo should be out soon and you'll see what I mean.

    Fifa 11

Pace of the game is a lot more realistic making ping pong passing almost impossible especially with lesser teams - first time passes are harder especially if you are trying to pass the ball diagonally behind you or something harder like that. AI has vastly improved with computer players attempting skills and just being slightly more intelligent. AI defending also seems better and makes it harder to score and therefore more rewarding when you do. Slide tackles are fucking brilliant. Players will not just slide where they stand - they will genuinely attempt to go for the ball, and will alter their body in any way that makes this easier. Example - twice I saw my defender sort of slide on one knee and just poke the ball away from the striker with the other foot - it looked really good and was extremely effective as he could get up quicker and therefore gain possession of the ball. The way players control the ball was pretty good too. I played a long diagonal ball with Ashley Cole up to Anelka and he jumped up and brilliantly brought the ball down on his chest perfectly in his path for him to keep running. Another thing that EA said was in the game and they have delivered is 360 battle for possession. Players will try to barge each other out of their way when chasing a ball. This also applies when the ball is in the air. Example - Cross from the right wing, into Drogba, Drogba gives the defender a slight shoulder nudge leaving him wide open to leap into the air and score a fantastic header. Probably one of my favourite moments whilst playing. Be A Goalkeeper - Extremely fun, and well worked into the game. Whilst in the arena you can choose to be the attacker or goalkeeper, so obviously I had to try playing in goals. Very easy to control, very fun and can see it being a great addition. I'm struggling to think of all the major improvements but I just know that it felt totally different and was fucking brilliant Any other questions, just ask. But try give me some things to focus on instead of just general changes
