think losing the title was a real sickner but think the inability to sign a couple of usful players in january cost us dear. Kirk has done well recently but was a major factor in dropped points at the tail end of last season, so a right back wouldnt have hurt after the sale of AH. Also think a CM would have been a good addition, we didnt know at the time bazza was playing injured, but if we had another player the take the pressure off of him, and let walter rest him in games, would have kept him fresh in the title run in.

what idea do you think is better, mixed nationalities or the play-offs to see which country will represent GB?? personally i would like to see a mixed team play as it would be a brilliant chance for the GB boys to get gold.

it is true that you cannot field a weakend team but there are so many ways around it, the main one being that the gaffer can say he thought the players were good enough to do the job. Its nothing to do with the rules, more of the fact its disrespectful to the other clubs in the league who try there best every week, no matter how many games they have.

i said stop the rot as it was that helped us get back on track and perform the way we did for most of last season.
